Since I used up all my words in last weeks posts, today I will just say that I adore Mark Ryden's work. a.d.o.r.e. them. I love how at first glance, they look cute and light-hearted and sweet with pastels and bunnies and babies. But on further inspection, you see the darkness. his art is disturbingly beautiful (making up words as I go apparently). I find that his art is lewis carrollish using 1950's hues. Very very cool. Is he local?
