I have a 500$ credit at Ferragamo. I'd like to buy something in that price range but the only things that are in that range are sunglasses, belts, scarves and shoes ...and maybe wallets. We all know that my massive feet are too wide to fit in any of their shoes, so that's out. Their belts are eh and I'd rather buy vintage scarves {i have hundreds anyway}. I don't need a wallet {thanks to my father-in-law who gets me fab designer wallets for the holidays - and bags too}. Also don't need sunglasses {although these are something I usually splurge for}. I'm still currently in love with my Tom Ford's and alternate between some older Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and actually a 10$ pair of fake Diors from the farmers market.
What's left? HANDBAGS. There is not one handbag in the 500$ price range or even a couple hundred more. So, I thought, well, if I'm going to spend {let's just say} $500 on a handbag, I might as well add that to my credit and make $1000 and surely can buy a bag for that. So far, no such luck. And honestly, I haven't really found one I liked enough.
I just got home and got an email in my inbox for a new Farragamo bag THAT IS TO DIE FOR. I actually got excited for a moment thinking MAYBE THIS IS THE ONE....

...and then I saw the price

and then decided to write this post.

Well, as long as there is $1,850 in cash inside of it I say go for it :)
Unbelievable! really??!! You would think you would TOTALLY be able to buy a bag for $1000. Sorry.
this bag is fucking ridiculously incredible. Gorgeous. BUT....I second WEP though, it better come with a gift with purchase, like the golden egg laying hen from willy wonka.
I want to know the price of those shoes.
fucking phenomenal. not worth that much though. Fuck! btw's, read pep's blog "thank you" to you...so adorably wonderful and precious. "all you need is love"...
