Menstruation according to Disney 1946

Every month I get my period is just one more month that I am not pregnant. According to Disney's film about menstruation {above}, I don't need to have sex to have a baby. The egg just magically attaches to the wall of my uterus and a baby begins to grow. But if it doesn't magically attach, I get my period.

Wow, have we been going about this all wrong! No wonder I'm not knocked up yet. We're having too much sex!

Disney's animated film is a bit long but very sweet. It's worth a look just for fun. I wonder if this is what my mom watched in 5th grade to learn about menstruation? All I got was a grown up Aileen Quinn {Annie} version in the eighties that was rather lame.

Oh my! I had no idea that Disney produced such a thing. I asked my mom if she ever saw this - and she says no. That she was shown a slide show in the 8th grade Health class. She said it was mortifying.

thanks so much for visiting my blog - how did you find me?

That was put out by Disny...maybe that is why we only had 2 kids...we told my eggs to attach to the uterus wall when we wanted too..maybe that is why our kids wore born 6 years apart...and in the same week..one Valentines Day one the 16th...I will tell them not to attach from now on...thanks for the tip and Disney

I learned about menstruation from Sweet Valley Twins. No joke. Sadly, I was camping with my dad at the time and I asked the poor guy to explain it to me.

I posted about my time this month too. I felt weird about it, though. So I'm happy to see this post.
So funny!
