Seriously, why oh why is Halloween about dressing like a ho now? Isn't this sort of, well, not the point at all?
There's one thing to go dressed as an already sexy or revealing costume {lord knows I've been a French Maid far too many times to count} but do they have to sexify EVERYTHING? Isn't there something lost in creating a costume based on a character? I mean, I understand not everyone has the time or money or the know-how and must buy {instead of make} a costume and that's fine but what is there to buy if you don't want to go as a sexed up Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz? {or the like}
Don't get me wrong, these costumes ARE super sexy and would be super fun to wear ...but weren't most of these costumes originally meant to be worn in the bedroom only? ...Or, okay, maybe to a party at the Playboy Mansion?

I must admit, I think they are cute! But only if you are 18-22 or so, b/c it'd be ridiculous for me to go anywhere dressed like that. I agree, though, it IS hard to find a regular adult woman costume that isn't slutty. At the costume factory, some pervy old guy must be in charge.

Like the song "Dirty Little Secret" these companies are wanting to bring out the "dirty side" not just in the bedroom but Halloween! They are HOT costumes though...can I get a "wooo hoo".

I have never understood the slutty costume.
I couldn't really count on one hand the amount of women I know who has the body to pull it off. The worst part about it is that you can dress like this or you can be a grotesque witch. These are our options.
Amen! It's so true! It's like Halloween is now an excuse for girls to dress sluty and for men to dress like women without people judging them because it's "a costume".

Either way it is my favorite holiday for sure, and being one that used to get out the playboy bunny costumes, I too feel like I am just to old for it LOL (eek what was I thinking) I do not even have the ta tas for that. LOL.

I'm in my 20s, so I guess that puts me in the age range for "wearing slutty outfits is ok on halloween".
I dress to leave something to the imagination. Ok, a little more than something... So Halloween is my opportunity to wear clothes I wouldn't usually.
Anyway, I'd wear something slutty, just because I know I'm not actually "like that".

One year me and a few girlfriends put on the typical "sexy kitten" costume, but then completely made our selves look all beat up (casts, wraps, bruises, tire marks, etc). We were a cat fight. It got lots of laughs.
I totally agree. I saw a chicken costume at Target so I just might go with that. I swear, there are no good options for women unless you're going for the slutty look.
I'm with you on this. I'm not a big fan of Halloween, I'm not a hooch, and even if I wanted to be, I couldn't fill out one of these costumes due to my lack of boobage. Countdown to Thanksgiving!

Agreed. I did however used to LOVE to dress up a as a trampy disco diva- complete with a dusting of baby powder under my nose. Ha!

halloween is my favorite holiday. it gives modest and conservative women an opportunity to "let their hair down" and cut loose for one night thru dressing up. i love the itty bitty costumes....i think if you have the body for it then why not flaunt it for a night? you may just even win a nice chunk of cash in one of the millions of costume contests they have every year! as long as your actions do not coincide with the "trampy-ness" of the costume i think it's ok!
