When I got home from work this afternoon my husband surprised me with the Mark Ryden "Blood" CD soundtrack.The conversation that followed.
{after the thank you and kisses, of course}
ME: ...yeah, I'm not sure why it surprises me {and I've told you this before but} I always lean towards darker art.
HIM: I bet the music is dark too.
ME: Totally. . . ...something about Mark Ryden's work ...it's all cute and pastels and bunnies from afar ...and then you get closer to it and it's all knives and blood and meat.
HIM: Yeah, it's just like you.
ME: {smiling} ...all knives and blood and meat, the closer you get?
HIM: Yep.
ME: ...and Lincoln.
HIM: uh huh.
HIM: The best orgasm you've ever had was when The Shining was on.
ME: WHAT!??!?!?!?!?! . . .I don't remember it being any better than normal.
HIM: I do.
I have only listened to a couple songs {here} and I must admit, they are sexy ...lol.
It's settled. I'm demented.
