Young Dre the Truth & Good Charlotte

I heard this song blaring out of the television a couple weeks ago and immediately fell in love. Only, it wasn't on a show, it was from my husband's Madden Football game. I searched and found it on youtube but iTunes wasn't having any of it yet. Two nights ago I checked again and they had it! I downloaded it {+ one more} and it has been on repeat in my car ever since. It's good. Good Charlotte and Young Dre the Truth "Workin".

In other news:
I bought these fabulous boots {in black} when NM was having their sale last week and I got them yesterday. And they are too small - and a bit too shiny actually. I should have known to get a size bigger in Marc Jacobs. Now, they are all sold out and they are no longer on sale. I did just find them at Barneys.com ...on sale for even less. But now I don't know if I should go up a size or a size and a half.

Ugh, I guess my flat black boot search continues. It's going on three years now. {I have an old pair but the heal is a bit bigger than I'd like. I could make some sort of spat in leather to put around them and I might if I can't find anything else} I'm looking for a nice mix of riding boot with a little motorcycle that are wide around the ankle ...not slouchy, I just hate when they are super tight at the ankle then huge at the top. I don't like the proportions.

I kind of like these Frye boots but they may be a bit too rugged looking. I like these but I don't want to spend that much for Juicy ...and, they're a bit too mortorcycly. And these Moschino's are so good they can go fuck themselves.

In other fashion news:
I also received the adorable and would-be perfect Cynthia Steffe skirt I bought on gilt.com {$64} in a size 6 but it actually fits me like it's a damn size 10. If I held the skirt up to my waist and cinched the back like 5 inches, it fit right. If I let it go, it was down around my hips. As I was trying to document it last night with photos {none of which will actually work because I was in my bra} I captured this one below {which I thought was awesome, clearly}. It's funny because in the shadows of the image you can almost see how long the skirt is when it drops.



In other other news:
I left work sick and am home now. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. One minute I feel fine. The next, I feel like I am going to throw up. I wish if I was coming down with something, it would just get here already so I could get it over with. Jeesh.

I am lucky to be home early I suppose . . . even if I do feel like poo.
