Somthing Great is Going to Happen

A vivid flashback whilst in the shower this morning reminded me that on the way to work yesterday I randomly thought to myself "Something great is going to happen today".

I thought it was ironic because of the events that followed immediately weren't "great" and still technically aren't that "great".

I'm not sure why I had that thought but I did. And maybe I just don't know how great a three day work week will be until I start in January.

Waking up this morning to go to work was daunting. I didn't get out of bed until 7am. Mind you, I'm supposed to leave at 8am to get to work by 9am, and an hour is just not enough time. Especially on an outfit post day.

I can feel my mood. It's heavy. I'm on the verge of crying. I'm angry and upset. I'm clumsy. And honestly, I'm not completely sure why. Yes, my hours were cut yesterday but mostly that is a good thing. So I guess I'm just not sure why I'm so upset but I can tell I am because I have sliced my finger, bumped into everything that surrounds me, pinched my eyelid with my eyelash curler this morning, etc, etc, etc. You know, the domino effect that seams to happen just as soon as you need the exact opposite?

My brain is still very much scattered and seems to be working overtime.
I had insanely vivid dreams last night and the three things that stand out in my mind which are on continuous loop are a Dinosaur, a Lion, and the Beach ...a very crowded beach.

So I looked these dream symbols up online and found the following:

Dinosaur:
To see a dinosaur in your dream, symbolizes an outdated attitude. You may need to discard your old ways of thinking and habits.

To dream that you are being chased by a dinosaur, {I wasn't, but I was afraid of him} indicates your fears of no longer being needed or useful {interesting!}. Alternatively, being chased by a dinosaur, may reflect old issues that are still coming back to haunt you.

Lion:
To see a lion in your dream, symbolizes great strength, aggression and power. You will overcome your emotions and/or difficulties. As king of the jungle, the lion also represents royalty, leadership, pride and domination. You have much influence over others. You need to exercise some restraint in your own personal and social life.

The Beach:
To see the beach in your dream, symbolizes the meeting between your two states of mind. The sand is symbolic of the rational and mental processes while the water signifies the irrational, unsteady, and emotional aspects of yourself. It is a place of transition between the physical/material and the spiritual.

To dream that you are on the beach and looking out toward the ocean, {I was} indicates unknown and major changes that are occurring in your life. Consider the state of the ocean, whether it is calm, pleasant, forbidding, etc.

To dream that you are looking toward the beach, {I was first walking on the sand and rocks through the crown then sat on a towel between a group of guys} suggests that you are returning to what is familiar to you. Alternatively, you may be adapting or accepting to the changes and circumstances in your life.

To dream that you are relaxing on a beach, {I was} signifies that the coming weeks will be calm and tranquil for you. Your stress will be alleviated and you will find peace of mind. However, to dream that you are working on the beach, signifies a business project that will consume most of your time. YAY!


The beach was crowded:
To dream that you are in or part of a crowd, signifies that you need to make some space for yourself. You need solitude to reflect on a situation at hand and recharge your energy. Consider also the familiar phrase of "going along with the crowd" which implies conformity and lack of individuality.

To see a happy, orderly crowd in your dream, denotes assured happiness, pleasant friends and opportunities for advancement. YAY!
