Chocolate Ice Cream I Cannot Resist

I was craving ice cream so badly last night that I drove to 7/11 and got some. The husband wanted strawberry but Haagen Dazs {what I would normally get} doesn't make it {or 7/11 doesn't sell it} so I got Dreyers. The big ones. Strawberry for him {gross} and chocolate for me {yum!}. He had one bowl last night. I had one bowl last night. And one mounding spoonful. Our family has a certain knack for balancing an entire bowl's worth of ice-cream on a spoon and eating it bite by glorious bite. Which is what I did today, three times. Yes, it's a problem. Which is why if there is any ice cream in the house, it is not chocolate. Because I ate it already.

Also note that 7/11 is like 3 blocks away. Not full blocks, residential street blocks. I could have walked. But I didn't. So there.

So, are you craving ice cream for a reason ;-)

My usual fave is Breyer's coffee ice cream, yum!! But right now I am pregnant myself and it hasn't sounded good as of late.

Lol! This is why we don't have any ice cream in our house!

You just gave me a craving for chocolate ice cream, and I am now going to devour the pint of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream that is in the freezer calling my name.

I love Rocky Road. Yummm....now I have a craving...I'd go out to my nearest 7/11 but I had McDonald's for dinner, so I think that would add insult to injury. Must go eat an apple now...or something healthy!

Ah ha ha! that's awesome! I would have driven also - you can't let it melt while walking back! Scratch that, I would have walked, but I would also make sure to take a spoon with me.

Oh I wish I could eat all of that. I am lactose intolerant and never have pills to help:( So I literally only get like one scoop.

Chocolate ice cream is the best...and I think it's the right thing that you walked there...I mean you would have had to carry them home.

And Dreyers? Is that a California brand? I haven't heard of it.
