70's Cotton dress: Vintage {got it last weekend at Goodwill}
Denim jacket: DKNY {which had about 30 80's band buttons on it until this morning when I frantically rushed to unpin them all ...I haven't worn this since my 30th 80's b-day roller skating party ...when the husband proposed during the hokey-pokey!}
Belt: Vintage ...and I actually can't wear it. The seam on the dress is too high and the belt doesn't have enough holes. I think I like it better without though}

I LOVE that dress. I never find anything at Goodwill (clotheswise) - I love the thrift shops in NY (there are a bunch in my neighborhood) and I always find the prettiest plates, bowls, glasses, etc...
That dress is fabulous. And, those boots, they have either that pair or a similar pair in black right now on sale:) GORGE! They didn't have my size:( Nevermind that there's a spending freeze in our household and I have about 6 pairs of black boots. sigh.

love the dress, with and w/o the belt. you definitely can go both ways with it. 'a la tim gunn'......the belt breaks you up into 3rds, as does the jacket. will you take me goodwill shopping with you?? you and eddie ross have the BEST luck, and a good eye!

OK, you have totally inspired me to go to Goodwill. I'm going there tomorrow to check it out. I called today to make sure I can bring my bags (and bags) of donated clothing to their location and the girl on the phone was a little sketchy so I figure it's a perfectly legit excuse for a field trip. LOVE THE DRESS!!
