It is strangely hot for January right now in LA. Is it hotter where you all live too? My guess is yes, but I'm not willing to do the research and would rather just get answers from you :)
I happen to love it. My husband, however, does not ...and the other day when he informed me that it was hotter than ever ...to which I responded with a smile, he sternly warned me that it was not a good sign and continued with "you're not going to be so happy when it's so hot all the time and it kills everything on the planet".
I said, baby, while I know that global warming is not a good thing, I do happen to love the warm weather. {As if because I, in fact like it warm, somehow I don't care about global warming and the environment!} Let me just remind you, my sweet, I'm not the one who runs the air conditioner like a Vegas hotel in the summer! {but I still love you}

It's from January 2007 about 20 minutes before we went to a little bar in the Valley called Charlie O's to watch my Grandpa wail on the drums. He is such an awesome drummer, I thought I'd include a photo of him as well.

Well, here in Ottawa, it's NOT hot. There is about 3 feet of snow on the ground, your nostrils stick together when you breathe, and your breath freezes to your eyelashes.
I want to live in LA...Or Arizona...or anywhere else...
Likes the heat so much that she sweats in the bed, profusely, it feels like she is sleeping in the rain, it's like sleeping in a bathtub. That's all I got to say!
It is always hot in Florida but we have had little to no really cool weather so far! Im a fan of warm weather but seriously long for a few really cool days to break it up. Still waiting!
No..I'm from NY...it's 20ish here.. brrrrr
It's definately warm here in Florida but I am enjoying it; it was 78 last weekend and we went to the beach.

While it's not hot in CO, and it did *finally* snow today, it has been unusually warm for January. It was in the 60's one day last week - craziness! Not that I'm against warm weather... but when it's supposed to be warm. It shouldn't feel like spring in January. I'm with you hubby on this one - it worries me :P

Up here in MN it is freezing. Tomorrow's high is -5. That's right. Negative. It's horrible. So nope, it's not hotter everywhere. I wish I were in LA...

We've had record high temps in Texas, too, the last couple of months, but that's supposed to change Wednesday night and get back down to the 20's. We'll see what the global warming trend holds for us, tho!

it was very hot in orange county yesterday. I'm back in sf today and it seems warmer than usual here too!
we go from warm to freezing all in a week. our weather is really weird in Oklahoma right now. No snow and we are in Jan. I'm not griping either...I hate cold weather!

I'm pretty sure Cali might be the only part of the country experiencing this warmth you speak of. We got about 5 inches of snow today and the next three days are going to be -25. I HATE IT!!
It's hot here too, but we're in the middle of Summer, so that may have something to do with it!

It is FREEZING in NYC! FREEZING!! I am so sick of it:( And we still have have another possibly three months to go. sigh.
The City is so fun (and so bad)...that's not the really REAL NY but oh well...it's still fun to watch. I'm all SET for Gossip Girl tonight though!

and NY is cold--in fact thursday or friday is supposed to be the coldest day here in a decade, or something absurd like that.
I think the weather has been incredibly crazy everywhere! it's hot one day in Dallas and then cold the next and then hot the next...and so on.
