What I'm Wearing
Jeans: Old Levi's
Sweater: Vintage
Platforms: Calvin Klein
1. I washed my hair yesterday with Dove shampoo and Garnier Fructis conditioner and let it dry on its own. Um, it's kind of blowing my mind how awesome cheap products are making it look considering I spend $32 a bottle for Fekkai Shampoo and Conditioner and all I get are tangles ...WTF?
2. I've been on the hunt for a good pair of "boyfriend jeans" for a while sans holes. Don't get me wrong, I like the deconstructed look but I can't really wear them to work. Last night as I was trying to fall asleep {watching Top Gun ...which means, I wasn't even close to falling asleep because that movie is so freaking awesome} I remembered this pair of jeans that I had stashed in a bag to go to the Denim Doctor and realized I could cuff them up and they would be perfect! However, I wasn't too creative with them this morning ...thus the sweater ...but I'm comfy ...and excited to see what else I can do with these jeans. Also, I got these heels about 6 months ago on sale and have been saving them for spring. They're faux snakeskin {the leather is imprinted} and they're a really cool copper color {which looks darker in the photos than in reality} and unbelievable comfy. you can find them here: Calvin Klein Women's Parma Platform Sandal
3. I've changed my work schedule to Tues/Thurs/Friday ...which is working out so much better for me ...but possibly not as great for outfit posts. I hate two in a row so I may have to only do two a week ...because let's just be honest here, when I work from home, I'm pretty much in sweats and uggs.

Love the boyfriend jean look. And your pics in front of the window are gorgeous!
Great jeans, they look good on you! LOVE those shoes :-)
I am not fan of boyfriend jeans but on they are great.
Terrific shoes!!!
Garnier Fructis smells so tasty.
How do you make a pair of jeans look great?? Only you Maegan!
your shoes are hot!!!! and your hair looks fantastic!
Those jeans look really good on you! And those shoes are just perfect.
seriously...i thought it was just my hair that liked the cheap shampoos...i was so excited because last week i bought fekkai shampoo and conditioner for the first time...with my hair spray (one product i can't go cheapo on) i walked out spending over $seventy!! i was floored...even more so since my hair has been flat and straw like since...what the freak?
l o v e the last photo...
What a great hair you've dear!!!
And I loveyour shoes, look so fabulous with the bf jeans.
xxo
Nice blog. I love it here. You look wonderful!
Nice blog. I love it here. You look wonderful!
I have always found that the cheap stuff gives me the best results. My hair will always look great in the salon from the expensive stuff, but I can't duplicate it at home.
The Suave Clarifying Shampoo is my favorite to use once a week. I used to alternate between the Dove, Fructis and Aussie. Now I am using the Suave Kids. :-)
you do have great hair and fab shoes!
Before I read what you wrote I was going to comment and say that your hair looks SO great!!! Don't you just love good hair days?
i love the bf jeans and the heels u paired with them

love love love. i wish i had that sweatshirt so bad!
dove products are definitely my fav. you should try the intense repair conditioner, your hair will be sooo soft! and LOVE those calvins!
Aaaaaauuuuugggghhhhh, I'm having a shoe-gasm!!
:)
aahahah ...a shoe-gasm!!! ahahaha so good.
Oh I love Garnier Fructis products! I use a ton of conditioner on my curls so I like to stick to the cheap stuff (plus it smells sooo good). And the Dove mousse is pretty great - no crunchy hair or flakes.
Nice outfit, but you look great in everything!
By the way, did you see my last post? If not check it out, it was very difficult to write but will for sure be worth the read. If you feel led to do so, post about it so that we can get the word out so that this ministry I am starting will speak to many.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
Love the HIGH heels! So sexy.
I've also been hunting for a good pair of boyfriend jeans!! I've been meaning to try out the trend for a while! I like yours a lot--a very classic boyfriend jeans look.
And a P.S. I LOVE Top Gun! It's probably my favorite Tom Cruise movie.
Dont you love that Dove shampoo?!?! It is one of the only non salon type of shampoos that I absolutely love. It makes my hair feel so soft!! I have been using it for awhile now and really like it.
Oh and Top Gun is SUCH a great movie. For sure one of my top 5!!!
Dove has shampoo.... I love rolled up jeans and strappy's they are perfect pairs.
LOVE the look, girl! :]
And yeah, 'The City' is really nice! :]
Those shoes are hot! I agree on the cheap products too, though I've never got along with Fructis stuff, it's always left a residue on my hair that made it look greasy as opposed to shiny.
Love the look!!
Uggs, say it isn't so!!
Those shoes are fab! I wish we had some extra spending $ so I could snap them up but we are saving for France. Dang it! But I guess it's worth it... :)
I honestly don't see how you gals walk in those shoes. Don't get me wrong, I love 'em but I can't walk in them and I'm jealous that you can look so great in them:-)
Great shoes. And I'm going to have to try that shampoo/conditioner.
I struggle to pay my rent because of damn pureology. :)
gorgeous pics! as per the norm :) come over to my house...you've been tagged.
Cath will be so jealous of your shoes- she's looking at that exact pair on Zappos- but they aren't for sale.
Also- gorgeous hair! I can't believe that's what your hair looks like air-dried!
you look so great and comfy...loving those shoes!
Your hair looks amazing and i'm loving the entire look esp. the shoes.
Your outfit looks comfy and stylish at the same time!
