What I'm Wearing
Skirt: Farmer's Market ...seen here
T-shirt: Target {old}
Cardigan: Express, Vintage {so soft} ...seen somewhere here
Belt: Forever 21 ...seen here
Necklace: Marc by Marc Jacobs from gilt.com ...seen here
Earrings: small gold hoops with diamonds
Sunglasses: Tom Ford
Heels: BCBG {old}
Bag: Louis Vuitton ...with a sad water stain ...boo :( hoo.
*Speaking of sad stains {what is going on?}, my purple uni-ball pen slipped out of my hand ...in slow motion ...and rolled off the edge of my desk and onto my skirt just now, leaving two very light but definitely purple lines on the top of my skirt. Infuriating ...because as far as I know, there is no way to remove pen from white cotton.

oh this makes me yearn for full on spring. i love it!
Loooove this outfit. Very springy!
what the crap...you always look too stinkin cute! bum deal about the pen...although i am the ink queen...my ladies often think my day involves wonderful hours of coloring and stamping because i am always covered in it...
love this.....so spring-y!
you look GREAT!! i am loving that LV - sooo sorry about the water stain. :-( a waitress spilled olive oil all over the handle of my Speedy... i was not pleased.
those sunglasses rock!
ooh you so can get the ink out (apparently), ages ago i saw this product that you can buy to remove ink from clothing. at the time i thought thats cool but i have nothing with ink stains but thought i'd bear it in mind if ever i do need it (i'm clumsy!).
It was in the detergent aisle of the supermarket altho I am talking about uk supermarket. But i am certain you'd be able to find a simlar product over your side of the pond. keep an eye out!
love your blog BTW, only just recently started reading it, I love outfit posts!
i'm obsessed with this outfit! that skirt is amazing. i love all that cool, amazing detail at the bottom. sorry about all your stains. so lame. :(
Maegan, I have to tell you I love your gratuitous posts the best. So rockstar and beautiful with a great dose of humour. Keep it coming. Carla
Maegan, I love your blog and your outfits. You're an inspiration to dress up more and do more with my outfits.
To remove ink stains, I use alcohol (regular rubbing alcohol). The best way is to soak a cotton ball with alcohol (the ones used for makeup removal) and gently rub it over the fabric (make sure you put a white paper towel underneat so the ink does not pass through). It should work.
I'm loving this look! It's so spring and fun and we're having the perfect weather in LA for this :)
Yay for Spring and warm weather dressing, you look so precious. I am unfortunately stuck in a blizzard with my Uggs at the moment.
I'm digging that necklace!
Love everything about the outfit! those classes are fabulous! Good luck getting the ink out, that shlirt is too cute to give up on!
perfect spring outfit! makes me want to pull out my skirts!
Great skirt!!! God, if I bared my legs right now I'd blind people!
SO cute, as usual. To remove stains I usually go shopping and buy a new skirt. Just sayin.
you look so cute in that outfit! For the ink stain, try soaking it in alcohol or in lemon. Either one should work.
How can you look so darn cute all the freakin time?!
LOVE the spring look... Now we just need spring weather!
super look!!! just super. and it is making me slap my head for wearing all of this black today.
I love this outfit! It's so spring... I want every piece!
yay for spring..but its not in NY...its grey and gloomy here....very cute outfit..love the bag
I'll just be over here, coveting your necklace ...
Thanks for stopping by today, lady!
One of my favorites I've seen on your site. So refreshing and cheery!
What a spring-like outfit! The colours look great on you!
Great post and a lovely, colourful outfit. You have a small waist! So jealous
Try a little bit of finger nail polish and a stain stick of some sort. My son got a Sharpie mark on his BRAND NEW coat this winter and I spazzed. My mom had this cleaner from the Dollar General Store called "Awesome" (it's yellow and in a clear jug) and we dabbed it, plus nail polish remover, and water on it and scrubbed. It came out completely!
That skirt is divine! The whole outfit is Fendi-inpired genius. No wonder you have 414 followers, darling!
xoxox,

Oh you guys are awesome! I'm totally trying the rubbing alcohol when I get home.
ROCK!!!
....and any other suggestions if that doesn't work.
frickin adorable!!!!!!!!! fresh and springy, i love it!
Either alcohol (the rubbing kind, not the drinking kind) or cheap hairspray will take it out. Put a towel underneath the stain and dab the alcohol, or spray the spray and keep "dabbing". The ink will spread at first...don't freak...it will all eventually come out.
Love the outfit! So cute! As for ink, I have no idea. Let us know if the rubbing alcohol works!
The necklace is so cool! And love the pastel shades! :)
Oh I love this!! Beautiful skirt!
P.S. I left you a little something on my page.
I always use hairspray to remove ink stains. good luck!
&great outfit! I'm coveting that skirt as I type this ; )
Wow, I love your legs. And you're so gorgeous in the last picture.
Try hydrogen peroxide. This is going to sound so gross, but I'm an ER nurse, and I've used it to get some serious *shit* out of my scrubs, so I bet it would work on ink too. Just make sure you put a towel directly underneath the stain so it doesn't bleed to the other side.
p.s. I ordered a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses from ebay, got a great deal! Fiance says I look like a bumble bee in them....so not funny.
Fashion wise, there isn't much you can't pull off and make look good.
Thanks for the nice comment, and you look fab by the way.
this seriously is one of my FAVORITE outfits! lovely, just lovely :-)
Lace=loveliness...looks like you are so ready for Spring! I'm finally baaack on the blogsphere!~Happy Spring beautiful!
this is so classy! Love the Tom Ford sunglasses. I've been searching for a new pair, I think I'll have to take a peek at his collection!
wow!!! You look great...
I´m in love with your skirt!!! Sooooo lovely!!!
Luv
I'm love love loving that outfit! You and it look just awesome!
Have you tried hairspray on the stain? That has worked for me before, but it works best with ballpoint.
I have a similair skirt and hairspray should take it out...I have always used aerosol type in the past and whala!
I love those shoes and those glasses!!
i'm loving your shoes!!!!!
love the skirt/belt combo. Soo great!! I think I am going to have to get a belt like that one!!!
Sorry about the nasty stain:(
very cute. i especially love the color palette (and those shades are fantastic).
Adorable! I love the skirt!
LOVE the Vuitton!
OH NOOO about the stain, how annoying!
Great outfit!
For any stain I always use this little bottle of stain remover that is from Dryel. It comes in their dry cleaning kit and it works magic. I know they have it like at Wal Mart, but not sure where else.
Alcohol may well work on the pen stain. And you look so spring time fabulous in this outfit. So country club lady!
i'm currently covetting your ankles.
Try hairspray! Works for me every.time.
Yes...there has been more than one time! LOL
pastels look good on you! my canon got stolen so i've been substituting with photobooth as well, but my photos dont look nearly as good, how come!?!??! imac = desktop>? maybe cos mine's just the macbook, so the res is lower.
either ways you look great and i use gilt.com too! :)
luphia gave us both the same blog awards so i thought i'd check yr blog out and i've enjoyed reading! :)

Good springtime outfit! You have a tiny little waist. I so think I have an express cardigan like that...I have a lot of them from express from the late 90s and early 00s...
