Andy Warhol "Chocolate Bunny"

Andy_Warhol_Chocolate_Bunny_1983
Andy Warhol   Chocolate Bunny    c. 1983
Synthetic polymer paint and silkscreen inks on canvas    20" x 16"

This is my absolute favorite work by Andy Warhol. It's nothing like the normal pop art you see from him but I just love it. We had it in the gallery a couple years ago and I have been dreaming about it ever since. Of course, it sold and of course I couldn't have afforded it anyway but maybe just maybe one day it will be in my life again.

Happy Easter!

happy easter! I love this print. andy warhol was such a genius and not least of all bc he made us think that all of these mundane and random things are so beautiful and interesting. it's really not just a green bunny.
I hope you enjoy the weekend:)
I know I owe you an email...I promise to write back soon! I've been away this weekend but I'm so happy you love the print.

Love the painting you posted! Perhaps you could find a print of it for a decent price? :) Cause I'm sure the original is crazy expensive. >_<
