cropped tank diy gray and neon watermelon

What you'll need. . .

note* as you wear it the edges will curl a little ...which actually makes it look better
for a cropped look, pull it back more or cut the center shorter

* note: instead of ribbon you can cut strips out of the left over t-shirt

Voila!

This reminds me of the material girl in the '80s. She also cut up tshirts to layer over other shirts with lots of bling. It's a fun look.

I love this and will try it! Seems like you could cut it right up the middle to make it more of an opened vest. I think I will try that and upload a RT twitpic for you! Thanks for the always affordable and fashionable DIY's.

I came across this website thanks to Pinterest, and I'm glad I found it because I was wanting to make a cute and fun Chicago Cubs shirt for the game in September and now I know I'm just going to cut up a men's soft blue shirt to make this, add a little cubs iron-on in the front and tie it with red polka-dot ribbon in the back! Viola! Thanks for the awesome instructions on how to make the top!
