What I'm Wearing
* Vintage floral dress ...I have literally had this dress forever. I love it. I got it at a thrift shop 100 years ago and every time I wear it, it reminds me of Italy. I don't know why.
* Guess buckle heels ...seen here last ...I was going to wear my Calvin Klein platform pumps which gave it more of a classic retro feel but I wanted to wear this necklace which I felt only worked with these shoes. A bit more modern. However, I may like the other shoes better.
* House of Harlow necklace ...from bloomingdales.com
* Tom Ford "Yvette" sunglasses
Oh it was so hard to leave the house this morning. It was a little darker, a little cooler and I just wanted to crawl back in bed and cuddle with my husband.
And ...really, it's so nice to be able to say that ...not only here but to him. I was quite traumatized by my ex whose idea of love meant never saying "I love you". He always said if you say it too much it loses it's value. But that is just not true ...and really about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Those shoes are the perfect compliment to the retro dress, I think. And I totally had one of those exes. In fact, after living together for 2 years and still never having heard him say he loved me, or anything even close to it, he finally said it in an email - after I'd dumped him! Oy, the time we waste on these fools. I'm so glad to hear you've found someone snuggly!

My aunt used to wear those types of dresses all the time. She even had ones just like that but they were long. I remember admiring her and wondering just how long it would take for me to fit into her dresses...
