EEEK! I got tired of waiting for the sun to shine through the gallery windows this morning so I ran outside and set the camera on top of a trash can to snap my shots. And even though they are still a bit dark/red/grainy ...I LOVE THEM! Luckily there was no one out there while I was doing it but I was SO AFRAID someone was going to come out and catch me. So embarrassing!
What I'm Wearing
* Vintage polka-dot ruffle dress ...seen here
* Vintage Ralph Lauren plaid linen button down ...seen here
* Jessica Simpson zip booties ...seen here
* Silver hearts/hoops earrings from the Farmers Market
* Tiffany & Co. silver lock necklace and charm bracelet
* Black flower tied on wrist {Thanks Droll Girl}
* Chanel Sunglasses
* Hair: wet ..just clipped in place
Before I completely committed to this outfit this morning I yelled for my husband ...and from the top of the stairs asked him if this outfit was too young. To which he replied "You're only 33" ...which I suppose was the perfect answer no matter how you look at it ;)

super cute outfit! i love how you accessorized it.
Nice location - love how fresh you look in the plaid too!
By the way, I've added new stock to my store, come check it out :)
so farking cute!!! a little girly, a little stoner, and a whole lot sexy! yayuh!
Great pattern mixing! I think all of us have done the quicky public photo shoots to try and get better pics...I'm usually snooping around the office terrace making sure I'm outside of an empty office so no one spots me through their windows!
I love the outdoor shots.. the outfit is so great the dress with the plaid..LOVE
I also know what you mean, I have done that before setting my camera on some street on the hood of my car and tried to act like nothing going on here and hope no one comes out of the buildings..LOL love it. I say do it more often!!
Oh yes! outdoor shots are always so much nicer! i am affraid i will get caught too, so i never go outside to take my photo shots, someone, and more than one person will definitely think i am crazy, not to mention how embarrased i would be if i got caught? haha.
Your husband definitely had the right answer, "You are ONLY 33" and you should always "ONLY" be whatever age. In my mind, i am still 19, will always be that age, no matter what. It doesn't mean that i am going to act like a 19 y/o, more like always feel young and fresh like that, i refuse to feel old, that is a label that was not made for me.
You look gorgeous!
What camera do you use by the way, if you dont mind me asking?
Oh Wow, very daring ! No risk, no reward.. I guess :) I think that you're one of the rare people who can pull this off .. plaid and polka dots are not easy to mix, you do it beautifully!
Your husband's totally right, kuddos to him for that reply!
Ok you look simply gorgeous!
plaid + polka dots = perfection
Ooh, so fresh and so clean clean! You look great!
Your hubs rocks!!
gorgeous xx
you look so darn stinkin cute. love the mixing of patterns.
That is the perfect answer- good hubby!
Love the mixing of the plaid & polka dots.
I would never think to put those two pieces together, but I love it! Thanks for the inspiration :) I really like the outside shots too. Also, I wish my hair would look like that wet and clipped into place!
Wow, great outfit. And you're absolutely gorgeous. I hope i look as good as you do when i'm 33 ;-)
love those shoes!
you look so fresh on these photos! absolutely cute :)
xoxo
That 1st pic- You look so beautiful!! I swear I was like is from a magazine- Gosh I wish we could switch bodies-(just for my upcoming trip) lol

nice pattern mixing....LOVE the outside pics!
the outfit looks great! you are as old as you feel! i feel 18! so my birth cert may say i am 30... but i sure as heck dont feel it! kudos for feeling and looking young!
That shirt brings back memories. In middle school, I had one with almost the exact same print. I also got a horse in Grade 5 and thought I was seriously a cowgirl, so unfortunately I paired my awesome shirt with tragedies like tapered pleated jeans and bolo ties (sp?) Seeing your pictures kind of makes me wish I still had it!
n'awr your hubby sounds sweet.
I adore this outfit, actually made me smile :)
awww, I love these photos and I LOVE this outfit...so cute! I have been searching for a pair of booties like that forever and they are so hard to find which is retarded because they are a pretty basic style. the only ones I have been able to find are louboutin and I just don't want to do it!!!
adorable juxtaposition b/w the dress and shirt. you could pull of anything!
you look totally remarkable! you make everything look amazing, you can totally wear everything and anything! HAIR!! "wet..just clipped in place" AMAZING!!!
I love the mix-matching of the patterns--brilliant!! pretty change of scenery as well :-)
the plaid top is my fave! oh wait, i love your booties!!

I love your outfit!! And the outside photos are wonderful!!
i love seeing your posts everyday and even more your husband :) but chica, i can't get into this one.
If I mixed prints like that I would look like a crazy channeling MK Olsen (whom I kinda like but not so much want to look like her) I'd rather look like you!!!
hahaha that's the perfect answer. good job hubby.
and love the outdoor shots! more more more!
urgh. i know what you mean. there's nothing more embarrassing than being caught taking self-shots! i'm always on high alert when i am. lol
anyway, the prints go so well together! gorgeous.

i like the mix of plaid and ruffle. lovely.
Love the ruffle dress, absolutely darling.
Also, you've got a rgreat pair of legs. Just the right amount of curve, muscle tone and femininity. *jealous* ;)
I love the first picture!
I have yet to work up the guts to use my camera and a tripod on my lunch hour. If I did I would have a lot more outfit posts, but I would also get a lot of funny looks.
Dear Maegan, I looooove all the look together and i have especially fell in love with black flower you have on your wrist. Please please please tell me how i can find it in drollgirl's blog???
Best regards for ur russian fan :)
