I'm home sick today ~although I feel better than I did this morning when I emailed in sick~ honestly, I think the fires/air conditioner are messing with me. There is ash everywhere. It's insane. In all actuality I hope it's the fires because I HATE being sick. That said, I'll admit that I am not wearing this right now ..lol. I took these last week for a DIY feature ...among others which I may or may not share in the near future.

Love the top...great color. How tall are you? I'm 5'7 and think I would still look stumpy with high boots (not that I could pull it off anyways.)

It is most likely that you are getting sick from inhaling the ashes, they are pretty bad for people's health/lungs..

Sorry to hear about the fires messing with your breathing. I don't know if we are getting any residue out here on the east coast, but my allergies were driving me up the wall today. I took a nap, and when I woke up I felt like I had been drugged. It took 15 minutes, by the clock, for me to feel normal.

Tall boots are being my new obsession.
This is one of my favorite looks right now! It's casual and stylish with a bit of edge to it. I can totally see myself rocking this now that fall is approaching and it might not be as hot out.
