* husband walking pug {Bebop} in background *

What I'm Wearing
* Vintage peachy/nude silk slip ...seen here {underneath the other slip} ...and actually floor-length. I belted it and made it a mini by blousing it over the belt.
* Vintage black blazer ...last seen here
* Boutique 9 lace up platform pumps ...seen here and here
* Tom Ford "Yvette" sunnies
* Vintage gold and gold and black chains hooked together.
* Hair : used the 2" iron today

I've been wanting to wear nude/peach and black combo since I posted this ...but actually, it was this Louis Vuitton necklace below that inspired this outfit. {the pearls are more rose/peach than in the photo}

It's not quite exactly where I want it to be but it's a start. I'm thinking tights in the winter along with more jewelry may just get it there. I love these shoes with it but the angle at which the platform/heel is makes my legs look ultra thick and even more muscle-y than usual ...which is why I usually save them for pants but I loved the lace-up feel with this so I'm dealing with it ;) more shots here

extremly great outfit!
Thanks for stopping by, Maegan. I cracked up at your "about me" portion. I love honest people.
As far as your outfit post: fabulous! This is one of my all time fave color combos. I also love ecru and a deep, peacock(y) blue with hints of a crimson. Ah, the upcoming fall weather is calling to me, can you tell? You must tell me who did your photos. No way it was a self timer...too well done.
One more thing: "but the angle at which the platform/heel", WHATEVER. My first thought when I checked your blog was "damn" this girl's got killer legs. To die for...seriously.
I love that your hubby and pug are in the background! Who takes your photo though if your hubby doesn't?
Looking lovely as usual. x
I LOVE this outfit (the colors and the sweet/tough elements), but what is hubby wearing??!! Joking :)
Love the peach/nude-black combo...blush pink - black is another fave.
Love the shoes! And "not even" about that leg comment. Trade you any day!
Well, color you peach and black. Just like in the Prince song. ;) ADORE those shoes, lady!
Your hair is a-may-zing. As are your shoes. :) Enjoy the weekend, dear!
I really liked the outfit and it really suits on you well :)

Holy legs girl. I love those shoes too. They remind me of my H&M wedges I'm wearing in 8/10 of my outfit posts. I swear I'll never get sick of this strappy, laced-up style.

That slip dress, by the way, is exactly what I'm craving right now.

You should be a famous fashion designer! I was about to comment on what a lovely dress you were wearing and then read how you layered and belted the slips to create a gorgeous mini! I love the layered look and the ruffled wide lace hem. Very pretty.
