What I'm Wearing
* Diesel jeans ...from gilt.com ...seen here
* Forever 21 cowl neck sweater
* Velvet Angels wedge booties
* DIY tweed {vintage} Michael Kors inspired sleeveless coat
* Necklaces: metallic strands, love,Shill, vintage pearls
* My affordable version of the Van Cleef Alhambra necklace ...I have it in black too! NY Light Metals - etsy shop...seen here
* Gold/Diamond little hoop earrings
* Tom Ford "Yvette" sunglasses
* Zac Posen bag ..gilt.com {you can only see the strap really}
Realizing this jacket was just too large to wear unbelted ...and seeing as I wanted to wear it unbelted, I remembered a jacket cincher I bought at a recent trip to the fabric shop just in case. Anyone remember these from the early 90's? I'm pretty sure my mom still has a few bedazzled ones. I was so happy to have made the matching flower pin because I pinned it on and it disguised the whole thing.

LOVE IT and the ponytail is PERFECT. LOVE.
I love the first photo! Totally gorgeous. I also like where the flower is placed, even though I know you used it to cover up the cincher. It looks good there! Your ponytail is so chic. I love how you do your hair maegan!

LOVE it! I'm so jealous, you must have cooler weather there, here in New Orleans I can't even begin to think about wearing long sleeves yet!
Oh, and I found out through trial and error that I can't let my hair air dry like you do (I'm so jealous!!!), it turned into a frizzy fro... yikes!!!

You look absolutely adorable & ready for autumn. Loving the tweed!
IN LOVE with those fab, fab, fab shoes!!!
Maegan, you always look fabulous, and the jacket ... you are very talented. Have you ever thought of doing this on a professional level?
I know you could do it, you already look like a pro!
The oversized jacket with rolled jeans is pure GENIUS. I like how it is lady like in how it kinda makes you look delicate. (Is that very unfeminist of me to say?)
hehehe your jacket clip comments made me giggle! you look great!
Ok, first off, I LOVE your blog! I've been really into DIY fashion lately, and saw some of your stuff on One Pretty Thing, and have been hooked ever since! Second, I have a question about you DIY puff sleeved shirt, I was just curious if you have to wash it in a special way, or if everything stays in tact if you toss it in with the regular wash?
Anyway, thanks for all the great tips!
Sarah
i LOVE this outfit.
and a jacket cincher! um... that's perfect! i have this beautiful tweed coat that is just too big and boxy for me and was so contemplating how to still wear it... any tips of where/how to get my hands on one?

One of my fav outfits! LOVE the jacket. It's so funny that you put the clip on the back. I have a jacket that's too large and I was just thinking a couple of weeks ago about how much I wish those clips would be updated so they can make a come back. They made everything fit perfect!
