This is regarding "Reflection"...don't act too womanly. It's great fun being a girl. I'm 41...oh god, I can hardly believe it! I act like an 8 year old some days and a 16 year old on the others. Sometimes I can hardly believe that I have my own company and people actually let me "run" stuff. You are a darling chica! Don't forget it!

Also, I love the idea of DIY for this kind of fashion jewelry. Don't go out and spend $500 and up for costume jewelry. Save your jewelry money for classic fine jewelry (preferably estate jewelry from Beladora.com) that you will wear for much more than one season.

I like yours better than the example ones! As for the reflections post, I am about to turn 30. I'm thinking "is my life what I wanted it to be at this point?" What did I really even want for this age? My sister in law is turning 30 too and she was bragging about how this is exactly where she wanted to be at 30. That is what got me thinking about my age and if I'm happy. Do I have everything I want? Hell no. I don't have a house, I'm stuck in the corporate grind and have a failing small business, but life is still good and when I don't think about all of the things I don't have I am generally happy. Count your blessings and don't ever grow up if you don't have to.

Fab! I did this DIY once-- and I guess I needed more necklaces in the tangled mix, because it looked a wee scraggly around my neck. I think I'll add more ribbons and pearls and rhinestones. More bling, baby!
