* Helmut Lang navy washed silk romper {bloomingdales.com} ...last seen here, which I thought would be my last until next summer ...but it was actually Hanako's comment on that post, that made me rethink it. Thanks lady!
* Black thin jersey turtleneck underneath ...nordstrom.com ...tag says Soprano ...this is a great basic.
* Black knit tights ...Jockey {old} ...seen here ...and ridiculously challenging getting the pattern straight on both legs. ..one works, the other ...grrrr.
* Victoria's Secret over sized knit short sleeve cardigan. ...last seen here with the shoes
* Pour la Victoire platform pumps ...last seen here
* Tom Ford "Yvette" sunglasses
* Vintage Gucci satchel
Unfortunately, {and maybe fortunately} I had to use two different locations here as a guy in a Mercedes would not stop watching me while I was under that amazing tree with the sun behind me. I must sound like an asshole complaining about people watching me ...but it's always that smarmy guy, lookin' over his sunglasses, eyeballing me up and down. It's not polite. It's rude. And once they see I'm annoyed they smile and stay even longer ...like the guy in traffic who's in the wrong and you honk at and then they just stop in the middle of the road holding up everyone.
Many other people {including a man with a parrot on his shoulder in this instance} pass me and either say nothing, ask if I need help taking a photo or smile and we exchange "hellos". But it's the disgusting guido pervs that I finally end up WAVING to pass and yelling GOOOOOOOOOOO. Which, of course, doesn't work. The only thing that works is leaving the scene. So I did.

This outfit totally epitomizes what I think of as LA Fall. Granted, I'm a Southerner, but when I picture in my head what cool, hip, LA people run around in in November. Totally a geek for writing, that, but I just love this look. And I love the hair today!

Hair looks fabulous! So shiny and bouncy. I'm jealous. I also totally understand what you're saying about the skevvy douchebag. I live in So Cal too where it is bad, but I went to school in NYC where the comments and leering where beyond obscene. I mean what makes a man decide it is acceptable to tell a stranger that he would "tear your s*** up"? Really, the only thing that makes me want to do is pepper spray him in the eyes. Luckily, the ipod had just hit the market and I received one for Christmas. Good music and a death stare were a great way to block out a perv. Too bad that would ruin all your pretty shots.

Awww...always love the shots with the pups in them! Patterned tights can be such a hassle sometimes because of that issue, what's with that? Maybe you should just start snapping pictures of the people staring at you as well?

So gorgeous Maegan! I like the cardigan on top of that 'romper'. Hmm… funny word that. Hey I'm only a bloke; we can't say words like 'romper' without feeling a bit silly. But you look great in it and your hair is just amazing, cascading down in those lovely curls. I see what you mean about the patterning on the tights though. Things went a bit skew-whiff on your upper left leg huh? But look on the bright side, I might not even have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it - and a 50% success-rate isn't so bad after all! But I have to come back to the cardigan. Looks so snug on you and I love the whole look.
Pity you had that distinctly unsubtle Mercedes fellow to contend with. I'd try hard not to stare - I'd hate to seem rude - but do you realize how hard it can be for a guy to just pass by a beautiful girl or woman and and keep on going, when you honestly think she looks just amazing? Sometimes I'd really like to stop and gaze, to try and take it all in. Course, some guys are looking at different things; Mercedes-man wasn't necessarily admiring the cut of your cardie I think!
