What I'm Wearing
* Vintage floral dress, belted ...no tag ... seen here and here
* Forever 21 gray leggings
* BCBG over sized cardigan ...last seen here ..but I could've sworn I've worn it since. weird.
* Urban Outfitters arm warmers {um it's freeeeeeezing!} ...these were a gift from an old coworker and they have mittens that button on ...if you want mittens, that is.
* Vintage chain necklaces hooked together
* Dolce Vita Gray Flash Bootie ...so so surprisingly comfortable, these booties are ...but make a considerable amount of noise whilst walking. I'd suggest NOT wearing them to the library, church, anywhere quiet really. I sounded like the ghost of Christmas Past ...wait, is that the one rattling the chains?
* Gray and black leather baby ball bag Olivia Harris {by Joy Gryson} ...from gilt.com ...seen here with boots ...I kept em
* Hair - let air dry

I'm feeling better today ...a bit calmer but also scared. Scared I'm going to freak out at any time. I realized in the car this morning that I've had a low level of anxiety this entire time but was focusing it on specific things like traffic and other drivers or fighting with family ...etc, etc, etc. It manifested as anger ...which is a safer feeling for me than anxiety but still not where I want to be. I'm just not angry anymore and don't seem to have an outlet. goddammit . I'm going to figure this out. In the mean time, I'm using all natural Rescue Remedy spray recommended by my sister in law. It definitely helped me sleep last night.

Lovely outfit, as usual :)

Read your blog yesterday and I'm so sorry your new medication made you feel so whack. I hope your psychiatrist is worth a damn and can give you what you need!! I don't want to be forcing my opinion or anything but have you thought about going to therapy in conjunction with meds?

I've experienced the same type of anxiety you mentioned and practically for the same reasons....Hang in there. I still haven't figured it all out yet either but with time; I know that I've come to learn a great many things about life, love, and dreams. Stay Blessed...Stay Strong.

Oh cripes, you look sensational! I knew this outfit was going to be great from your novel opening shot, taken from behind, showing a fabulous leggy vision with eye-catching stiletto-heeled boots. I have to say it Maegan, you have such great legs. The sort leggings were made for! Those ones actually look black to me, but I see you've listed them as gray. A pretty dark gray then I guess, but whatever the exact shade, they're working very nicely for you. You look like you're out for a lovely walk somewhere, but I'm guessing that you actually just popped out of your car and then popped back in again, as it was apparently freezing. No, I stand corrected, it was "freeeeeeezing!" - which sounds a good deal colder!

By the time I got to shot 2 I'd recognized the boots and bag as being the ones you gave us a yummy glimpse of the other day, asking our opinions. I'm so glad you kept them. They're looking great on you, and you look so beautiful in that second shot. Cosy too! The cardie is lovely - you're so good at cosy cardies! - and those arm-warmers are an interesting addition. I hadn't actually heard of those before, or not that I can remember anyway. But I've always thought leg-warmers can look really sexy (I think it's daft when people talk of them as if they're some sort of fashion embarassment), so I'm definitely open to a bit of arm-warming action too. Your belted floral dress goes so beautifully with the leggings, and to cut right to the chase, your whole look is just a gorgeous delight, and sexy as hell (which always helps).

I'd love to hear the sound of those boots too! You paint an entertaining picture with your talk of chain-rattling ghosties, but that just makes me love 'em even more. They really announce themselves huh? I'd say boots like that have every right to! I've got my fingers crossed for a noisy appearance on your YouTube channel sometime, so we can get a good listen to them, but I won't hold my breath. If you could do us the favour of cheekily walking into a library and alarming the patrons though, that would be even better of course, hee hee! I wonder if you could get yourself thrown out. There could be a great local news story in this, I can just see the headline: "Woman ejected from library for wearing noisy boots". Damn, I'd like to see that. I can just picture the warning signs the library would put up afterwards too. Like, a sketch of your boots, with a big line drawn across them.

Ok I better stop yammering now before you throw me out, but I thought you looked so wonderful here. Thanks for another great post Maegan, and it was good to see that your camera has got its act together again, letting you catch some lovely crisp shots. This was a super first outing for your new boots and bag, and I look forward to seeing them many more times in days to come.

PS: Monique suggested I have a crush on you, but I prefer to think of it as an uncontrollable fixation. :)

I've been a reader for about a year now, but I've never left a comment. First, let me say I love your outfit posts. I find myself wondering (while I'm sitting at work @ my booooring desk)what you're wearing today :)
Your posts are honest & you speak what's on your mind. I like that.

I hope you find something to help your anxiety. I noticed you're using the Rescue remedy. That stuff does wonders... I've even given it to my dog before!
Good luck

OMG, that sweater I could live in! Cozy!!!

You look amazing, really. When I had my really bad anxiety, I could barely eat, let alone get dressed.

I don't have time to read all of your comments, so sorry if I am repeating anything. You NEED to get some therapy grade lavendar essential oil. Mix it with a carrier oil, like olive oil, or grapeseed oil, and have your husband give you a massage with it. It will help you relax and get the sleep you need to be healthy. My husband was having a hard time sleeping and it did wonders for him. And my son is anxiety prone and has me rub it on his temples when he feels like he is going to go crazy. It is SOOO much better for you then the chemicals they put in "medicine". In fact you should look into all the essential oils...seriously good for what ails you! I am not a hippie, but I have seen what they can do! Try it. http://www.mountainroseherbs.com would be a great place to start, even if you just want to research different oils. I recomend the sampler. :)

Hope you feel better soon.

You are always amazing!!

Also catching up on your posts, I just want to say how much I relate to what you are going through. I also have yet to figure it out and it comes in strange waves but I am so grateful for your honesty on your blog really Maegan,
I do know that when I am most anxious and my mind will not stop racing, if I just stop all that I am doing for a few days as it helps, but it always comes back and that is the issue I need to resolve.

I think we should just grab a ton of us bloggers and head on a vaca to Europe :)

Adore you and hang in there !!
