After rummaging through bags and boxes I finally managed to pull this outfit together yesterday morning ...and honestly, it's not my fave, but it's comfy and warm and works.
Half expecting to have to tug at my jeans to get them on {as with most skinny jeans}, I pulled these up and over the butt with no problem. Realizing they were a bit baggier than usual, I assumed that I had lost a few lbs during the move ...eating less, working more - it's bound to happen. But I'm always the same size and have been for most of my life so when my clothes are loose, I don't know why but I always and immediately think something is wrong ...like I'm sick or something. I know, it's retarded.
A convo with the husband after getting dressed and before leaving the house for work yesterday morning.
Me: baby, my jeans are so loose today
Him: yeah . . . and
Me: well, you know how I always freak out a little when I get skinny.
Him: um . . . you're not that skinny.
. . . lol and he's right. I'm pretty sure no one's wondering if I'm anorexic at 134lbs. lololol. But still.

seriously you are one of the coolest people. EVER. I don't think I've read/heard anything like this before!! AND I LOVE IT!! You look beautiful. I'm sorry you are a bit worried!! Its probably just all the moving!! You were probably being Hercules and all with the boxes and didnt take in all the calories needed to maintain your regular weight. I say pop a few extra peanut M&M in tonight/tomorrow/ all week and you might be able to throw back the lost weight quickly ;)

Funny, the few times my Kahuna made it through my dressing room door, he poked two fingers down inside my waist line, and yelled, "Too tight"!..

sometimes jbrands fit me differently depending on the fabric. i have the same ankle length skinnies, both in the same size, and my black pair fits SO much looser than the dark denim. sometimes not feeling like a sausage is nice. :)

I just wanted to write and let you know how INSPIRED I am by your blog. Reasons:
1. Your style is so creative, stylish yet organic.
2. I went into the corporate world, and lost my sewing, diy projects inspiration..you have helped to renew it, even got a new sewing machine for xmas.
3. Your height and weight. I am 5'6 135lbs. I live near Scottsdale AZ, which is just a smaller version of LA. So, all my friends are size 2s. THANK YOU FOR BEING SO BEAUTIFUL AND MAKING ME FEEL THE SAME WAY !!! I know it's overwhelming to be looked up to. But, it's true. Because you are hot, that means I'm hot too, without having to be a skinny minnie.
4. I have faced anxiety/panic and depression issues off and on for the past 3 years (I'm 28). At first I associated a lot of shame with these issues - - thought of them as weaknesses. Over time I learned they are what they are, I am who I am and as long as help myself when the challenging times come around, then it's all okay. I was so impressed that you would document your health challenges - - it left me feeling so normal again!!!!
Your closet kicks my closets ass I'm sure, but the way I have been putting together all my favorite items into outfits in new funky creative ways, taking more risks - - the inspiration I lost has now returned. You have been a part of that also, so keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We Love Megan.
