i had such a unicorn phase too--in grade 4 my birthday present was a bedroom makeover and i picked purple paint for the walls and purple unicorn bedding...it was horrendous...but at the time it was the shit!

I used to read those books all the time, too! I Loved them! My most cherished is called The Unicorn and the Lake. Beautiful artwork, I don't think they make it anymore :o(

Your niece is cute, cute, cute and I love the name Delilah. My daughter was so in love with unicorns when she was young. She is 25 now and still loves them. In fact, one of her web addresses had the word unicorn in it!

I used to have a giant unicorn poster in my bedroom when I was a tween. My mother's friend pointed out that it was a bit "phallic".
