* Thin jersey black turtleneck ...such a great staple to have. I wear this constantly under dresses in the winter.
* Black socks ...I think I found these in my husband's sock drawer ...or maybe they're from Target

* Velvet Angels Naked Lunch Wedge Booties
...It's possible I wear these far too often! 
80's chain necklace which was my grandma's seen here long, doubled with berry silk sash from this dress and worn with shorter 80's chain which was my mom's, worn long, seen here, doubled w/a ribbon & paired with vintage rhinestones

Love the shoes they look so comfortable. I couldnt help but notice the W magazine photo of Angelina Jolie and Shiloh shot by Mr Pitt. I framed a few as well. Black & White makes everything so chic!

BTW, I got chills when I scrolled all the way to the bottom of your blog and saw the Mary Oliver line. Several years ago, there were so many people in my life who were totally f'ing up their lives, and I felt like I was acting as their life raft, then I came across Mary Oliver's poem, committed it to memory and soldiered on knowing I cannot save anyone from their own mistakes I can only (somewhat) control what happens in my own life. So, anyway, it was nice to see it again.
