burberry trench and stripes

What I’m Wearing
* Forever 21 black and white striped shirt
* Calvin Klein super thin denim jeans …ancient last seen here
* Burberry trench coat …last seen here
* Black Pashmina scarf
* Silver Tiffany’s lock necklace
* D&G watch …Gilt
* White gold hoop earrings
* Tom Ford “Anouk” cat-eye Sunglasses
* Jessica Simpson patent peep toe faux oxfords {I added a black satin bow to the laces to “girlie” them up a bit today}
* Salvatore Ferragamo hobo bag in black

I find this time of year extremely challenging in choosing outfits in the mornings {yes, I should figure it out the night before thus saving precious time but clearly I enjoy being insane} …the sun is shining but it’s still chilly and not just Spring yet. Questions like “Should I still be wearing black …and what about boots?” whiz through my mind. I am so bored of my wardrobe right now and am so lacking creativity with what I have. Even my shoes are boring me. It may be that I still have yet to complete/organize my office/dressing room/closet …yes, it’s possible. But it’s also completely possible that I need to go shopping 🙂

In other news: how sad are you about Corey Haim? Poor guy has been tormented for years. Aside from my true love, Johnny Depp, Corey had a wall of his own in my prepubescent bedroom. Hopefully he is at peace now …my heart goes out to his family.

    You look so classically chic! So very American…I love the touch on the shoes…and I agree, I am conflicted if should still be wearing gray and wool or can I break out my yellow and peach trench coats??

    You look fabulous!!! I’m in love with your shoes!!! I think anytime is a good time to go shopping. Maybe a new pair of shoes (or 10) will spark some new creativity. I was so sad when I heard the news about Corey Haim. My 8 year old self swore that I would marry him one day.

    XOXO

    P.S. I’ve seen you wearing Parlez-Vous OPI in the past few photos and had to do a manicure with mine last night. 🙂

    Great outfit! I was wearing a Burberry trench the other day as well, but with Hunter wellies as opposed to peep-toe stilettos, as there’s way to much snow over here to think of such cute shoes yet.

    I wore stripes and cropped jeans today too, but somehow whereas you look like a Beverly Hills celebrity, I look like a Beverly Hillbilly. C’est la vie.
    It’s very sad about Corey Haim. Although he was wayyyy too young for me, I loved his quirky acting. Johnny Depp, on the other hand, is only four years younger than me.(like I’d ever have a chance with him or anything) 🙂

    Lovely, as always!

    Just wondering if you will ever be going back to that house you found one day by accident? The one that looks like it’s straight from a storybook.

    This time of the year sure is challenging attire-wise… but you rock it off well. Stripes are going to be so in here in Paris the upcoming season… My problem is that I like them on others, but not on me;)

    I also hate this time of year. I find jackets are the most perplexing – it’s not warm enough in Michigan for spring trenches, but it feels silly to wear a winter coat mid-March.

    Your outfit seems to be the perfect way to transition!!

    it is so tricky to dress for this “in-between” time! and now i am seeing lots of stuff in the closet that is VERY wintry that i didn’t wear yet. argh! oh well.

    LOVE what you did to the shoes.

    and it is so sad about corey haim. it just kind of hit me today that we are like machines, and if not handled properly it is GAME OVER. wish it didn’t happen that way to him. :[

    Hi Maegan…

    LOVE the background in your pics here (reminds me of stone walls in France)… You have the BEST hair of anyone I know, too!!

    I was a fan of Corey Feldman since childhood.. and have seen most of his movies.. Corey Haim’s story is a tragic one… sooo sad, and why is it that a lot of those child stars turn to a life of drugs/alcohol and addiction/abuse… It’s really tragic… I feel for Corey Feldman and the Haim family, esp. his mom…
    Another young life taken to early… It’s disturbing and very sad…
