What I'm Wearing
* Miguelina green ruffle blouse from GILT ...seen here
* BB Dakota black skirt
* Vintage leopard coat ...was my grandma's. She made it for herself in the 60's. This is my favorite piece in my closet. {And probably the last time it will see daylight until next Fall/Winter ...which is a blessing and a curse. I love Summer. But I love this coat too}
* Studded necklace worn as belt {I got this at Amazon.com ...they have a surprisingly large collection of cute bib necklaces
* Pour La Victoire Cut-out Open-toe Platformpour la victoire shoes, platforms, wooden heels, cut-out leather platforms
* Nicole Miller earrings ...also from GILT, D&G gold watch, gold rings {studded by Noir, gold textured by Grace Chan} also from GILT
* Tom Ford "Yvette" Sunglasses ...my old standbys
* Salvatore Ferragamo black hobo bag
* Opi Hong Kong Collection Jade Is the New Black nail lacquerfrom Gwen ;)
* Hair: Used the Hot Tools 2" curling iron and partially pulled back and clipped

Above: Me, 1980, St. Patty's Day, in front of my mom's old bug ...seen in This is what I'd be dressed if my mom still had her way ...Erin go Bragh crown and all! Mind you, my maiden name is Shanahan ...I'm as Irish as they come. Well, minus the red hair and freckles.

This is actually the 3rd year posting this photo of me when I was about 4 years old on this blog. That blows my mind. However, the first year I posted it, I had maybe about 20 visitors a day ...my how we've grown ;) Thanks luuuvers! Happy St. Patrick's Day to ya!

I love your pic from when you were a kid! So cute!

Also, the red hair is a myth. The Irish are known for dark hair and light eyes, it's the Scottish who have the red hair. Funny how it's been switched around over the years and misinterpreted. The only reason I know is because my sister has red hair and I have dark, we always assumed she got her red hair from my mom's Irish side but we're corrected by my straight off the boat Irish grandmother lectured us on this fallacey (that she is on mission to correct apparently).

Happy St. Pats!

I'm irish too but I definitely don't have red hair but I do have the green eyes.

And funny thing about Jade is the New Black. After I sent it to you a few days later another bottle arrived in my mailbox in the form of a gift. So I'm sporting a green mani/pedi today too!!!

Hello Maegan you are wonderful, I would propose that you put pictures of your shoes in your closet to see how they are, if they last a lot, if you clean them well and if they have marks of the feet to see the quality of the shoes.
Congratulations on your blog and a kiss.

Hey Maegan,
Long time listener, first time caller!
I second ^ Karen's request. I was actually going to ask how you keep all your accessories organized (watches, earrings, etc.). I'm struggling.
PS - been daydreaming of making your knotted necklace! Keep the creativity comin'!
