black and blue outfit

What I'm Wearing
* Forever 21 graphic print skirt ...seen here almost exactly a year ago. How crazy is that? I also rolled it up and made it a mini ...hiding the bulging waist with a blazer.
* Vintage blue v-neck sweater. I bought this at a thrift shop when I was 18. No joke. It was vintage then and now I am vintage. lol.
* My favorite black blazer/jacket Bill Kaiserman, vintage as well
* American Apparel stirrup tights
* Noir silver studded rings from Gilt Group mixed with a pave white gold band, D&G watch, also from gilt, vintage belt seen here and dark silver hoops with black Swarovsky crystals
* Tom Ford Sunglasses ...was so excited to see him at the Oscars last night ...but SJP looked so pretty I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
* Michael Kors black open toe stiletto biker boots or {here ...also from Gilt Group but you can get em from the link above. ...seen here yeah, I wore them twice in a row.
* Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick in Sexy
* Hair: Wet, pulled up w/ clip. Was running late ;)

Oh the Academy Awards ...made me sob and sob last night! I'm not sure why ...wait, I'm on my period, that's totally why. But maybe they were more, I dunno, sentimental than usual ...with the John Hughes tribute and all the lovely speeches to the nominees at the end. Man I love Jeff Bridges. However, I wanted Meryl Streep {who looked gorgeous} to win ...just because I love her so much.

Fashion trend of the night: strapless dresses with earrings but no necklaces ...and colored lips.

Happy Monday ..what?!?!? I mean, ughhghghgh, it's Monday again

I love the outfit, it rocks. I have to say though I think SJP looked kinda gross. Her hair was a hot mess.

Ummm... okay... in the pic of your accessories I spy in the background some large rhinestones. I've been wanting to ask you to come up with a DIY for the Vera Wang necklace that's on the cover of March's ELLE... it's also in March's InStyle. I'm completely in LOVE with it and thought YOU would be creative enough to re-create it on the cheap. =^) (Because I can't go pay three grand. I know. Imagine that.)

I love this so much. The high-waisted skirt + cinched waist and boots lengthen your body and it overall really, really, really flattering. Feminine, yet edgy.
