This is more of a "I-didn't-get-out-of-bed-until-after-7-and-had-to-leave-by-8:10" day kinda look. I had referred to this amazing little jacket in my previous post which then locked it in my brain for the following day. I guess it was a good thing though because I was short for time and just threw it on. If you want to know, but I'm sure don't care a bit, I did happen to make it to work on time ...well, 9:03 is close enough for me. To be fair, the traffic has been out of control and making getting to work on time in the mornings near impossible. So yeah, 9:03 was a miracle, if you ask me ;)

OMG!! This is totally nuts but I was just thinking of this jacket last night that I haven't seen it on you in a minute!! {weird I know! LOL} I LOVE IT!! The color is just so exceptional. Really I had the hardest time getting ready this morning too. I am pretty sure everything that could have happened to prevent me from getting ready in a timely manor..did happen. MONDAY BLEH!! I sometimes think the best outfits are the ones put together when you're short on time... when I get up too late, I either end up wearing a tried-and-true combination that may not be creative but that I know looks great, or just throwing something on and not second-guessing myself with surprisingly cool results.

When I clicked on the link labeled "this skirt" I saw a black puff sleeve top which I absolutely adored which you were wearing with the yellow skirt. I too love the contrast of black and yellow as you might have surmised from the photo I posted of myself male-modeling a yellow floral top with black full brief panties.
