At $4.99 per rope, you can afford to buy a handful of colors and mix them up! It's so easy ...use a sash or scarf instead of a ribbon closure or a chain even. {You could also wear it on your head!} Too easy for words. Have fun!

Man, you are good. That looks so easy but I would never have thought to do it! I love how it turned out - and the colors you used.

WOW, Maegan..it's funny that you did this on a necklace. I had a dream or a daydream (who pays attention) in the last day or so about a rope.

For some reason, I was on the set of a Ralph Lauren photo shoot and the model had some khaki pants and no shirt...(You know that's normal:)

Well, I have no idea why I was there but the girl's pants wouldn't stay up. FOr some reason, I took the rope that was tying back the Red Velour Curtain (yes, I dream in color) and put it around her waiste.

Ralph Lauren came in and told me it was brilliant and started making/selling ROPE belts for $300 but he didn't give me any credit!

Then, I kicked him in his eye because you don't steal a black girl's idea and think you are gonna get away with it! LOL

...(totally joking about kicking Ralph Lauren in the eye part...it should have been part of the dream though)

THe point is...we are both thinking about ropes! (don't judge me)

LOL

I tried it this weekend and I think it turned out ok. I just did my college's colors so I can wear it to games, but I will be going back to get some fun colors. I'm wondering wear you can get those metal ringers the designer rope necklaces have... Seeems easy enough to make a necklace fancy!

Thanks!
