A huge thank you to Jewelry Affaire Magazine for featuring my Tom Binns inspired DIY rhinestone necklace! It looks like they altered it a little bit, which I don't mind, but I still think my original looks better. The Spring issue showcases a hundred really great pieces as well as how to's and DIYs. Click the link above to buy a copy ...it's worth it.

I heart your blog, I do, I do!
The layering. I die for the layering.
How awesome! (still like your version better :)
Congrats!
(Yes, yours is sooooo much better. Who the heck edits these magazines???? I don't get why they dumbed down the fabulousness of yours. To make it more boring and less tasteful? I swear, some of the stuff in those sewing or jewelry-making magazines...yikes. MAJOR taste issue, IMHO.)
But congratulations on being featured - major accomplishment!!:-D

yea, i dont know why they messed with it. ur original looks 100 times better than their version. did u actually send them the necklace and let them take it apart?? cuz id be kinda pissed if they messed it up for me.. :/
That's fantastic!! Congratulations!! I do like your original a little bit better also -- it's less messy and a bit more sophisticated.
One thing I love about reading magazines like Jewelry Affaire is that it opens our eyes to so many artists that we may have missed if it weren't for the publishers bringing them all together in one beautiful place.Sometimes it is the simplest things that are the most elegant. Jewelry Affaire celebrates the beauty that can be found in easy to make jewelry. These pieces are not only feasts for the eyes, but they can easily dress up and adorn any outfit and its wearer. This jewelry is precious in its own right.
That is awesome. Congratulations!
