Weather changes moods ...Tender age in bloom ...Spring is here again

...but this year, I get to experience it first-hand and it's nirvana.

blooming trees spring

When I stand in my kitchen, I get an almost 360 view via four windows on each side of the house ...and it makes me so happy just to be able to look out and see trees and nature and blue skies.

The light that shines into our new house has done wonders for my mood. The 3 story condo we spent the last 6 years in had 3 windows total in the entire place. Only 3 windows! And the one window/sliding door that was down stairs looked out to the salmon stucco building and windows of other tenants. Yes, I may be being a bit dramatic but it was like being in jail. I'm so happy to get to enjoy not only the views of the outdoors but to have my own front and backyard with blooming fruit and flowers and trees. It makes me smile every single day.

Yay! We moved into our first flat with a garden two years ago after living in poky London flats for years. I still appreciate it every time I sunbathe out there with my morning coffee. Yay! Enjoy. :)

It's amazing what windows and sunlight can do for your mood! I'm right there with you :) And springtime blooms make me giddy! I love that you have a lemon tree. I've always said I want to live somewhere someday where I can grow lemons! :)

There are two "baby" birds that sit on a bush every morning just outside my window! The same two birds! They peck at the window, I think, to antagonize my indoor cat who sits there watching them. They seem so happy! Love Spring! Love your first photo.....would look beautiful framed....maybe hanging in the gallery where you work? Just saying...........have a great afternoon!

pick number 2 made me gasp aloud!

and a pretty view makes all the difference in the world. which reminds me that i should open my curtains at home more often. sometimes i just peek out of them to get a glimpse of how pretty it is outside.

Ahhh...it is a great thing!
And I will attest to your old condo being somewhat cave-like. The new house would make anyone happier!

Gorgeous, gorgeous photos! So inspiring! I wish this is what I was looking at outside my window - and not a dirty snow mound.

I'm not a big summer person (since it gets REALLY hot here in South Africa in summertime),but I do enjoy sunlight and being able to see green things when you look out your windows. My boyfriend and I live in a very tiny one bedroom flat, with 2 windows, and one tiny one in the bathroom, but luckily they are big ones, and we have trees and rose bushes out front.Even though I hate heat,I think I would die without (sun)light.

the husband and I moved from a home that bordered on three roads, to 9 acres of woods and wildlife. I'm sure people eyerolled when I mentioned feeling like living in jail in our first home lol! so be it, I live easier with nature and sunshine around me!
