* Two of your favorite yogurts {I used boysenberry here, lemon is delish too}
* One {entire} 8oz tub of Cool Whip {it's the smaller one} ...soft, not frozen
* One graham cracker pie crust

* Stir yogurts in their containers ...empty into mixing bowl

* Add Cool Whip

* Mix/Stir until nice and smooth

* Pour into pie crust

* Lick utensils and bowls

* Replace lid and refrigerate for at least an hour ...the longer the better
* Remove and serve

. . . enjoy! Now if only I could get Wayne Thiebaud to paint it for me ...if only.
* This recipe was passed down to me from my mom who has been making it for Easter since I was a kid. I have taken over, however, the making part for the last ten years or so ...it's so easy. And sooooo yummy {and really kind of healthy}! I'm not sure where she initially got it from but you may have heard of it before.

Ahhhh! Thank you so much for posting this! My husband and I just made our grocery list for Sunday and we were lacking a light dessert. So easy too--gotta love that. You seriously rock, and the spoon licking shot is a classic, that never gets old does it? ;) Enjoy your weekend!!

oh my gosh yum!!
awesome! I'm officially making this for easter dessert now!
I'm totally going to make this tomorrow and I'm going to use boysenberry because I love it..or maybe vanilla black cherry. maybe. ;) I love your kitchen and the flowers and really the whole set up of this 'how to' is completely lovely. I love that little {or I guess big lol} heart spoon. I'm really great at licking the utensils and bowls LOL {actually that always brings back childhood memories because when my grandma would make mashed potatoes she would give me the whisk to lick and I always pretended it was ice cream ;) } Thank you for sharing!! I had never seen/heard of this recipe before! Hope you are having a nice night!
My aunt makes a frosting like this...I am definitely going to try this at home :) Yum!!!! xx

I loveee those pretty purply-pink tulips!! They should be a permanent fixture in your kitchen...when one batch dies, buy another...or start a TULIP GARDEN!! Funness!!

...you SOOO REMIND ME of Julia Childs in this post...[i saw the movie yesterday...haa haa!]...I mean, relatively simple recipe, but a recipe nonetheless...& you can tell you dig the pie...
Happy Fri-dayeeee!
Looks so delicious! And I love the heart shaped spoon you're using! Will try it out! Have a lovely easter! :)
oh my god, how divine and simple! definitely adding that to our recipe list! Can't get cool whip in Paris but I can find an alternative!

Perfect...I'm making this!
love the heart spoon :)
That looks so yummy!
Yum. Looks tasty. :)
sounds wonderful!!
I make something similiar with frozen Minute Maid pink lemonade and sweetened condensed milk instead of the yogurt. Just thaw the lemonade, combine and viola. Instant, delish dessert.
Lemon anything is one of my faves - I should try it!! YUM!
Happy Easter!
xoxo J
I tried a rich version of this tonight, coffee flavored yogurt and a chocolate crust, delicious! Thanks!
I tried a rich version of this tonight, coffee flavored yogurt and a chocolate crust, delicious! Thanks!
Ohhhh man my mom used to make this all the time when I was a kid! My gramma also used to make yogurt parfaits, those were to die for!
I'm actually making one of these today, so funny! I'm doing one that looks layered using 3 different pastel colors with a strawberry glaze yummmms! I hope it turns out =/ Looking at your finished piece makes me so hungry ^_^

LOL I make a very similar pie using strawberry jello instead of the yogurt! Sometimes I do orange jello with a chocolate oreo crust - also delish!
My Nana made this for every holiday, only she would freeze it and take it out just to make it slightly soft for slicing. Early in my pregnancy it was one of the few things I could eat without getting violently ill. It's nice to see others love this pie!
Happy Holidays!
I make the same pie but stick it in the freezer for a few hours...yumster. Another great, easy one is 1 block of cream cheese (light will work but not fat free), chocolate syrup and cool whip. Throw it in the freezer and enjoy! Love your blog -
Yum, I kind of want this right now, it looks so light and delicious!
Looks delish!! I just wished it wasn't made with CoolWhip :( It's so unhealthy, I must find a way to make this another way b/c it looks so incredibly delish!
Beautiful kitchen and Tulips!!!
Dang I REALLY wish I'd seen this before Easter! This might have to be a dessert to celebrate a random Tuesday...
BTW, thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you'll come back! --Katy
This is the type of recipe this is right up my alley. I made it the other night for my husband and he thought it was delish! My hubby says that he highly recommends :)
Seriously? That's it? I'm going to make no fewer than 87 of those pies RIGHT NOW.
I'll definitely have to try it! Looks delish, pretty and easy. I can't imagine that it's very high in calories either! I heart the spoon :)
