* Marc by Marc Jacobs army green shirtdress from a recent Gilt Group sale and I kind of love it.
* Victoria's Secret boyfriend cardigan
* Aldo gladiator stilettos circa 2008 ...not a huge fan of these shoes as the angle makes my calves look monstrous {although it's possible my calves just are monstrous and these don't do me any favors}. But they were the best fit with this dress today. Lusting for these Michael Kors gladiators in black or saddle. But, alas, I make do with what I have.

Dear Gilt Group,
I'm blown away when I log in at 9:03 and everything in three sales is "In Members Cart". It bums me out. I feel like I'm bidding on an ebay auction just trying to get it in my cart and end up saying fuck it - I'm done ...and log out. I wonder, is there some VIP group that gets let in at 8:55 ...and if so, why am I not one of them? I wear something I've purchased on Gilt close to three times a week - photograph it/advertise it/and link to it {like today for example} where over 5K people see it a day. And let's also throw in the fact that 1481 people have signed up because of me. So I'm just sayin' Gilt, why am I not a VIP? And if it's a matter of dollar, dollar bills, yo - how much do I have to spend to get into that group?

I agree about Gilt. One December, I was home, my sister was home, and my mom was home. Every morning, my mom would yell upstairs, "GILT! Man your stations!" And, off we would go. Then, a few minutes later, we would meet up and compare what we had in our carts. My dad thought we were all insane.

I feel your pain. I have a gilt credit burning a hole in my pocket and I haven't been able to use it because anything remotely interesting (and also everything that isn't interesting) ends up in someone's cart in .02 seconds. I.don't.get.it.

Yep, you have to spend $10K per year to be upgraded and get access to sales an hour early. Apparently Gwyneth Paltrow is in this category.

gilt should be paying you some sort of commission by now. SERIOUSLY.
Just to give you some insider info - at some point last year, my IT consultant husband heard a juicy bit of gossip that Gilt Group was losing 3-5 million dollars!!! Now, I don't know if that was per month or quarter, but I think their E-tail business model is only just starting to become more solvent. Just fwiw.
You SHOULD BE a VIP - if it weren't for you, I wouldn't even know who they are. (And btw, it's not me with the stuff in my cart! I feel your pain! It SO reminds me of stalking bags on Ebay only to lose them at the last second.)
