Like an Anthropologist from a Movie ...is how I felt. And a little bit like Hunter S. Thompson

What I'm Wearing
* Victoria's Secret Marisa pants cuffed ...purchased 2 sizes too big for this oversized effect ...last seen here
* Paul Smith black label from a few years ago - navy/brown floral blouse with silk camisole under
* Vintage rust corduroy blazer ...last seen here with boots
* Brown leather skinny belt with gold buckle
* Sam Edelman lace-up boots ...seen here with socks I love these little boots ...and they're really comfy too.
* Gold hoop earrings, gold D&G watch from GILT, gold & black feather bracelet from Jami Rodriguez
* Louis Vuitton speedy
* Hair: waved large sections with iron ...then brushed out a bit to soften the look. Spritzed a few times lightly with Bed Head MAXXED-OUT - Massive Hold Hairspray (8 oz) then used fingers at roots to lift and mess up a bit throughout the day {thinking I need to redo all of my hair-tutorials and add a few new ones}
* Huge Gucci aviators circa 2002 ... I love these sunglasses but their look is so specific, they only work with certain outfits. I was excited to remember them this morning while putting this outfit together because I barely get to wear them.

Huge Gucci Aviator Sunglasses+70's-3

If the title above confuses you ...let me explain only by saying that after two years of posting my outfits under the label "Completely Gratuitous Outfit Post" ...I am absolutely & completely bored with it. However, coming up with titles for said posts 3 times a week may prove to be beyond my creativity level ...we'll see about that. But for now, the title is how I felt all day long ...and even if this may be a man-repelling outfit, I loved it!

How cool is that crow in the first shot?!?!?!? Since I set up my own photos, it was completely by accident that it just so happened to fly into the shot, which almost looks like I'm referring to it with my hand ...though again, no idea, just lucky. I saw the tree on my drive home and snapped it out my car sunroof ...it matched my blazer ;)

ALSO: If you haven't checked it out yet Go see my feature on Eat, Sleep, Denim! I had such a great time with Jennine {which you may know if you follow my twitter} who was actually the first "blogger" I've met in reality. She is more fabulous and beautiful in person and does more for "fashion bloggers" than anyone else. So glad to get to know her in person!

Despite rust-colored corduroy and baggy chinos, this outfit somehow still comes across as sexy.
I also wore a man-repelling outfit the other day. Check it out:

Love your outfit! and those glasses are AMAZING!

So funny that you called it a "man-repelling outfit." I slid on a pair of boyfriend jeans the other day and my fiance looked kind confused. I said, "what's wrong, you don't like my outfit?" he replied, "umm, you look cute, but your jeans are so baggy... I guess I'm just not use to that. They aren't as sexy as your other jeans." LOL... oh well.

Anyway, you are looking fab as usual!

Only you can make a corduroy blazer look so sexy. I just checked out the "eat sleep denim" photo shoot and I have to add that they came out really well. Glad you had fun meeting an "in person" "blogger". lol

Nice casual and comfy...its something what a couple of simple accessories can do for an outfit...The belt and shades alone pull it together nicely...Work it!

PS. What a beautiful tree....

I love the effects with the pants. I do that with my boyfriend jeans. Make them a bit bigger, but I also like it with these style pants.

Very cute! I love those glasses. I love Hunter S. Thompson, he was such a trip. You should go check out Ralph Steadman. He did illustrations for him. Love his stuff.
