What I'm Wearing
* Vintage/thrifted green and ivory striped button down shirt
* John Paul Richard tank with tie beneath {also thrifted}
* DIY jagged edge cargo skirt ...I made this from a pair of men's vintage cargo pants about 1 million years ago. Just found it in my closet this morning and thought it would be a comfy option. -Reminding me of the last Balmain show a bit.
* TOMS lace-ups Aira Cardones ...without the laces. Seriously, Toms shoes are like slippers!
* Tom Ford "Anouk" cat eye sunglasses
* Louis Vuitton 30 Speedy with vintage rabbit's foot ... I dunno why ;)

The boss is in the UK for a couple of weeks and while I normally dress fairly casually for work, I feel the need to take advantage of it a bit more when he's gone. If we had clients coming in, I wouldn't have but it was a quiet day at the gallery and I didn't want to be bothered with heels today. TOMS to the rescue!

. . .

And later with my absolute favorite oversized short sleeved cardigan {I wish I had it in every color imaginable} from Victoria's Secret and my black patent FitFlopsblack patent leather fit flops, shoes, thongs, flip flops, workout shoes {because I actually live in these}

LOVE toms! I really want a pair.

The second outfit is perfect too, VS has such great find online.

With your boss gone, it is the perfect time to play around even more with outfits! You look great in every look you pull together.

Love both of the outfits. I do like to dress up every now and then, but when it comes right down to it, I think I'm more of a casual girl.

The TOMS are great and I love the skirt. The last look is my fave, with the cardi and fit flops. The black works well with the green and white.

Love the skirt! Please share how you did it. Just cut willy-nilly? I know there a method to it though.

I haven't purchased any Tom's yet but they are definitely on the list.----and the fact he donates pairs to children is such an amazing plus!

Great outfit!

Le sigh. I love TOMS in theory. I always think they look great on others, but on me, I just look homeless in them. Sad. But you look super cute!

Addict said...

The skirt is AMAZING! So, military-camo chic. The toms look good.
But I have to agree with Katy that they always look better on others than on me. LOL for the "homeless" part of her comment.
