Yet again it was chilly until about 3pm today. I hear you NYers are having a massive heat wave ...um, I know this is a strange request coming from LA but do you mind sending the sun back our way? Please?

Stepping into the elevator after work, a man smiled at me then continued to pretend he was busy on his blackberry ...then out of nowhere exclaims "A rabbit's foot!?! I haven't seen one of those in years!" ...then walked out. I laughed to be polite but thought, really? Even if he hadn't seen on in years, {and I would refer to mine as vintage because it is indeed very old} was it really that insane to see a rabbit's foot?
