Shopping for 10' Palm Trees in heels & silk is probably not the best idea but I did it anyway

Friday afternoon on the way home from the gallery I stopped at OSh hoping to find some palms for our backyard pool area for our 4th BBQ. There's nothing like an event or party that really motivates me to finish projects and tidy up a bit {I also finally built our second set of 6'x6' Expedit bookcase from Ikea Friday night that have been sitting in our game room for over a month ...the boxes being used as a bench}. The thought of going home to change first did cross my mind but I knew I would never make it back out of the house had I gone home. So, off to OSh I went {above shots taken on the side of OSH} ...and within minutes became overly excited at the king palms on sale for $9.89 each! I grabbed 5 and since they were light enough to pick up, was able to single handedly place them in a cart. But they were so tall getting them through the door was an entirely different story. By the time I was done, I was pushing two carts around waiting for my mom to show up with a truck large enough to get them home.








And since the garden section was rather quiet ...I was able to set up my camera and snap a few action shots ...lol. I'll show you the palms in my 4th/backyard post coming soon ...though I'm moving rather slowly today so it could be awhile ;) Hope you all had a wonderful 4th and get the day off today!
