What I'm Wearing
* Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent shift dress from nordstrom.com ...last seen here
* Vintage Ungaro Parallele Paris striped blazer ...last seen here
* Pour La Victoire Tula Open Toe Wedge
*D&G gold watch
* Tom Ford "Anouk" sunglasses
It's that strange time of year when Fall clothes are on the radar but the weather is just waking up to Summer {here in LA} which makes getting dressed in the morning a giant cluster-fuck. It's rare when I have an outfit chosen the night before including accessories and I can just throw it all on confidently, apply my mascara
I'm getting my hair done this afternoon and I'm tempted {as always} to chop it all off into a messy shoulder-length bob à la Scarlett Johansson ...but I most likely will not. It's nice to have lots of hair to hide behind sometimes, something I rarely remember until I chop it all off. This may or may not be the last time I see my stylist, Nikki, as the salon she rents a chair from seems to be closing. Goddammit! What on earth will I do? I've been loyally seeing Nikki longer than any other stylist in the existence of me coloring my hair {which pretty much began after I graduated high school when I dyed it burgundy, you know, the 90's} So, insert the biggest sigh ever right here because again, what on earth am I going to do? {and yes, I'm being totally dramatic}

Love the color of that dress on you! It looks perfect. Don't cut your hair either. xoxo

love the sexy mesh at the top of the dress, very fem.
See if your hairdresser will let you get your hair done at her house. I've been going to mine for the last 20 years.
Loyal hairdressers are great shrinks too:)
Please keep us updated on the hairstylist situation! Seriously, my husband and I are moving to La Jolla this weekend from Atlanta and I was planning on trekking up to LA to go to Nikki because I am a long haired princess myself and I am a freak about my hair. I have shockingly not stressed at all about this move until now.
I agree - fabulous color on you! I definitely think you could rock that sort of bob - think of the fun new styles to try!
Becca

Love the combination of that striped jacket with the purple/pink dress!
The shoes, oh the shoes, I obsess. I just love shoes too much -sigh- those shoes are so awesome.
By the way that bob is super cute, let me tell you, i've been thinking about chopping up my hair and get a bob cut too, but then all the time that it took me to grow it past shoulder length makes me rethink. Also, you are NEVER too old for bobs, I don't think you are too old to get a bob cut, -old is the last word in this world that I would think about labeling you with-, you don't look old at all! You should totally go for it, it would look great on you, that bob cut has a plus, it's a messy bob, which would suit you even more wonderfully.
If anything, bobs make people look younger!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
Can't wait to see your hair. Cute outfit as always!!
Love that dress! I hope you still get to use your stylist - I'd be completely devastated if I had to find someone else. It's so hard to find the right person!
LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
love yor highheels!!
amazing look,

Please don't cut your hair... And don't freak yet about your hair girl... maybe she will do it at her house or better yet, come to your house... or maybe she will get into another salon... My hair girl was out with medical problems a few weeks ago, and I had the opportunity to try a new girl... i had every intention to use this girl just the once while my girl was out... well I LOVE HER and she taught me so much about my hair i felt like i was in hair school. So helpful and an awesome color and cut!! SHE'S MINE NOW!!
ve the color of your dress!

The combo of hot pink with the striped blazer is great.
I have also been going back and forth on getting a bob like Scarlett's. But I've been working on growing out my last bob (which I LOVED) to go with a more lengthy, layered look for fall. I think if you're ready for a change to just go for it! It will always grow back.

I love the little surprise stud detail on the wedges - so pretty! I also understand about the stylist thing - my stylist just moved to Denver!! The first girl I saw after her cut off 4" of hair when I asked her to take off an inch or two... I was not happy. Not at all.
