12 rhythmic steps, then he nods his head

I just stumbled on this little insider fashion world video {via Full Frontal Fashion} from 2004 and was mesmerized. Not only is there a large section surrounding my favorite designer, Tom Ford and his career, the late Alexander McQueen's 2004 Spring runway show based on the movie They Shoot Horses, Don't They?has recently inspired Elle's 25th Anniversary Special Collector's Issue featuring model Coco Rocha. I find it fascinating to see how everything is so cyclical in the fashion industry ...which is why I love magazines and have such a huge collection of them. What's old is always new again ...in some way or another, there's just a bit of a modern twist.

I was thinking the same thing about fashion moving in a circular motion...eventually things start repeating with with a more modern twist to it! love it.

Trends come and go, but style is forever. Be true to what really fits YOU as a person and let trends be trends :)

couldnt agree more! it's hard not being a pack rat when you're able to see the cyclical nature of the fashion industry. i can't wait till i have my own home so i can just have a storage room for everything that i'm sure will come back sooomeday.

thanks for posting this! ♥
