When the people at BlogFrog approached me and asked if I was interested in being one of 7 leaders in a new parent community sponsored by Screamin' Daily Deals called the SoCal Family Connection I was a little shocked ...mostly because, well, I'm not a parent. But since I do live in SoCal {born & raised} and I am trying to become a parent I thought, What the hell? I've never really been much of a team player as so much as a solo artist {metaphors people, metaphors} and thought this would be a great stepping stone outside of my comfort zone. But the amount of pressure I've put on myself because of it is a bit ridiculous.
