"Goin' to Paris, Frenchie?"

black and white stripes+bow belt+red black and white outfit+sharp

vintage red leather bow belt

red bow in hair+tom ford anouk sunglasses+tiffany locket necklace

dolce vita lace up heels

black and white and red outfit+striped lacoste shirt+oscar de la renta trousers

What I'm Wearing
* Lacoste black and white striped t-shirt I bought this top 2 sizes too big so that it would fit loosely. I normally would be a 6/38 and I bought a 10/42
* Vintage Oscar de la Renta men's trousers {the husband hates these}
* Vintage red leather bow belt ...this was my grandma's and one of my favorite pieces
* D&G mirror watch, small silver hoops, Tiffany locket necklace
* Boutique 9 lace up heels "twyla"
* Tom Ford Sunglasses - Anouk
* Ferragamo bag
* Hair: bun + red bow {bow is actually from a vintage blouse ...it may have been a belt or neck tie}
* Title: What my husband said to me as I walked into the kitchen to grab an apple before work. {he thinks he's hilarious ;)}

I'm off to go watch Project Runway ...while the husband, in the other room, jizzes all over the television because football season has FINALLY begun AND Brett Favre is playing right now.

The hairbow is a little much for me, but otherwise I LOVE this! (I blog stalk and don't think I've ever commented, so that's how much I love it.)

Also, "I'm off to go watch Project Runway ...while the husband, in the other room, jizzes all over the television because football season has FINALLY begun AND Brett Favre is playing right now." had me cracking up because that's pretty much my life right now. I wish I could learn to love professional football. I've tried, and just can't get on board. At least it is easy to tune out while I do something else.

I can completely relate to the start of football season. I am sitting on the couch perusing the internet while my husband is watching football on our new big tv! SO not fair!!! Love the outfit!!!!

I also have never posted (but love the blog!). This post was refreshing. I liked how it was styled so simply but had such a wow, put-together effect. Awesome!!

Sign me up for the favorites-list. Classic and chic and I live the color combination. I going to search through my closet for things I can combine in a similar way.
Always good to get a reminder why those looks are called classic, they always work.

I love how you can mix it up & have so many looks Maegan. You never trap yourself into one certain style.

K, I too am so freaking happy that it's football season & Brett Favre-my fav QB is back (sad they lost though). But of course I set my DVR to record Project Runway.

What can I say, I'm a tomboy who loves fashion...quite a combo huh?! HAPPY FRIDAY!

Great outfit, Maegan! I'm also mad for French style like in this outfit. You can never go wrong with navy stripes and red:)

No no no, the bow ADDS more to your style, it doesn't take away from it, really, I love all about this outfit, how you put it all together :)

I love love LOVE that belt, seriously, it looks so pretty. This whole outfit is fabulous, your shoes are the awesomest, I love that bag. Another one of my favorites from you. I also love your necklace how cute, and your earrings. And those are men's trousers? Jeez, you wear them so well they don't even look like they are men's.

Every time I look at your outfits I feel like I should be working to make some money of my own to go out on shopping sprees whenever I feel like it. The hubby comes with me when I go clothes shopping or shoe shopping and he always asks "Another pair of shoes? more of this? more of that? not in an annoyed/angry kind of way, but still, if it was all money earned by me I doubt he would even think about asking haha.

Anyway, you look gorgeous.

I'm a twit for stripes. Seriously. This outfit is steal-worthy. I'm filing it away with my other LM ideas.

BTW - I'm from Vikings country and was wearing my #4 jersey last night! Yeah, we lost. :(

That belt is killing me! Your gran had great taste.

i find that husbands and boyfs never like 3/4 pants!! Haa haa!

Project Runway last night??? c'mon!! How idd IVY's MONSTROUSITY of a fashion outfit win over Cassanova's???!!! Just wrong.

P.S. -- Thanks for commenting back on that. Really & Truly.

Leslie said...

I've forgotten all about men's trousers! I used to wear them years ago. How fun - I am off to the thrift shop to find a pair. I want to steal this whole look. Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!!!

In a word: perfection. You look as though you were born in Paris; more Parisian than a Parisian native. You definitely have that whole Left Bank bohemian thing going on there.
The husband is a riot. It sounds like you're married to a regular Joe Pesci..."overbyder" ;) My boyfriend is EYEtalian. Believe me, it's a "gift." ;)
Have a great day, Maegs - Rita
