* Red Wavy wig

Find an adjustable nylon or silk slip in nude, pink or white with lace on the bust,

Buy a pre-made Ballet Tu Tu
OR ...diy one yourself
You'll probably need at least 5-7 yards of tulle for the skirt to get the volume she has {I'm a stickler for authenticity lol}. Match your tulle to the color slip you buy for your top. You can make the skirt one of two ways: 1. Stitch it directly to a pair of large high waisted panties or wide elastic or 2. Fold over the top creating a channel and run a ribbon through it and tie a bow as a closure {like this}

* Military Combat Boots

I really didn't bother with the mic because who wants to carry that around all night BUTTTTT, if I were going to get really crafty, I'd make a purse that LOOKED like a microphone to carry my essentials in, killing two birds with one stone.
Her makeup is simple ...bright red lips, dark eyeliner & lashes ...and if you want to get really authentic, don't forget to Sharpie on her tattoos

That's pretty awesome - I'm not sure I'm digging the hair, but I am loving it as a costume!

Don't forget your microphone prop! I've seen some really cute ones in the seasonal aisle of several pharmacies that sort of made me want to change my costume idea!
Love this idea!!! Too bad I'll be walking the neighborhood this year instead of hitting up the costume contests around town. :) Can't wait to see who you dress up as!!! XOXO
This is such a good idea for a costume! It looks pretty easy to make too...Thanks for posting!

It's very Ace Ventura meets 80's Madonna. LOVE IT!
In high school I was Ace Ventura...this is a much better costume idea!
Awesome idea!
Maegan...you have done it again.
Rhianna's outfit was very costumey on that show. She looked like a devilish-ballerina....that red hair is still not my havorite look on her.
Anywho, I love the tut. That might be a pretty hot costume!

I bought this wig not long ago and two things to keep in mind: removing the devil horns is going to leave some gaps in the hair + the wig is much shorter than the image is showing! You probably wont even have to cut it. (unless I got one from a different company, not sure... the image is the same girl on the cover of the packaging!)
Cute idea though, love it!
OMG!!! Thank u soooo much for the idea. hav a friends b-day party coming up and needed serious help. and here it is, all in one blog. soooooo visiting here again.
