I was kind of excited about my haunted mansion ghost table idea for our Halloween party, which is why it was imperative that our new table arrive by Saturday morning ...which it did. Yay. And with this ghost table idea in mind, I headed straight over to my mom's last week to rummage through all of hers and my grandma's vintage crystal and silver wares.

I loved the mix of the old-lady crystal glass next to the tarnished silver ...as if the guests of the table died the night of their dinner party & the table had been untouched for years and years ...but someone just so happened to stop by on occasion with new candles & fresh flowers, lol. I used old white sheets to cover the chairs and table, as well as cobwebs, and stopped at Bargain Yardage for the sheer white beaded/embroidered/scalloped edged lace to lay over it. I used an old lace table runner towards the back of the table as a base for the decor to leave enough room in front for all the goodies.

I loved the turnout, which I'm sure is obvious by the amount of photos displayed above ;)

You did a fantastic job. I like that idea too of how the guests died after the party that night and the table just sat there for years and years...love stuff like that! I would have come to your ghost table party/dinner if I was invited and lived nearby. You have the best ideas and your friends must love you! x
