What I'm Wearing
* Vintage/thrifted oversized denim button down shirt ...last seen here also seen here
* Vintage cognac thick corduroy blazer ...last seen here with boots also seen here
* Calvin Klein thin denim pants {because they're not really jeans they're so thin} I've had these forever ...no really, forever. They're a great staple. Seen here with vintage red leather coat
* Vintage neck scarf was my grandpa's
* Sam Edelman lace up ankle boots with gray socks ...last seen here. The more I wear these boots {which is often because I love them and they're very comfortable} the more compliments I get on them. It's silly really.
* Tom Ford cat eye sunglasses - I really can't be bothered with any other sunglasses right now. These are hands down my faves ...and have been for quite some time now.
* Louis Vuitton Speedy {30} bag - though my vintage leather backpack would maybe have looked a bit better though even MORE matchy matchy.
* No jewelry really but a few silver & white gold stacking rings
* Hair : loosely waved with the iron but brushed out a bit for a softer, more retro look. And roots that seriously need to be touched up. I haven't found a new hair stylist yet :( boo
I really can't fathom the idea that it's November 15th today. It's straight insanity! The year is coming to an end very quickly and I'm worried the holidays are going to pass by and January will be here in a blink of an eye. Anyone figure out how to slow time yet? There is really so much to do before Thanksgiving which is now in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! {insert mini freak out here}

I never actually tie these laces ...just keep them knotted on the sides

Tricky, tricky, you made it work.
Love the quirks of not lacing the laces, and capturing the crazy eye.
Cheers!..to keeping it real.
Matchy match should be easier, but it's harder than it looks! You did well! - www.therationaldresser.com

Mae Lu, @ thereafterish.
I'm not courageous enough to do denim-on-demin. But after seeing this post and how fabulously you pull it off, I think I might just try it once and see the reactions I get - if I can pull it off even half as well as you, I'll consider it a success!
What a great denim on denim outfit. I love how you combined everything together.
Yes, I'm with you on how fast Nov. came. I'm actually staring my x-mas shopping this week and next to try to get it out of the way.
xoxo,
MelRod

I just visited/commented on a blog that had outfit photos of nearly the same outfit- denim on denim, styled the same way with the same kind of shoe. So weird! haha You both added different accessories to make it you, and that is what I love about bloggers. They're entirely unique.
XXXO

Denim on denim? Only you can pull that off. You look fabulous!
I'd look like a Fashion Bug reject from Billings, Montana. *sigh*
I adore those jeans. And those scarfs are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay, denim AND brown together! I've been sitting here wondering whether I can pair brown shoes with my jeans for the last few days! Haha.
Your hair looks so gorgeous in these photos! Have you done a tutorial?
Your grandpa would have been very proud of you, wearing his beautiful neck scarf. It's good to be sentimental and to remember people by wearing their clothing and accessories. Blessings always. You are a wonderful daughter and grand-daughter.
awe, that's the sweetest anon comment ever ;) thank you
Your shoes are amazing! I want! I want!
xoxo,
Dylana
I love this look. One of my favorites from you. But it's possible I say that every time.
xoxoxo
Love the double denim!
The years go faster and faster as time goes by, it seems. Sigh.
Those shoes are so beautiful (as are you)! Love!
What a lovely outfit! I love the brown & denim combo. You have a wonderful blog :)
- the runaway
I don't care what Michael Kors and Nina Garcia say - I love the matchy matchy! Looks fab on you...
I think it looks fabulous!!! Of course I love brown & denim always!!! XOXO
Is it wrong that I call you CAM (Cute Azz Maegan) in my head??? People are always getting on me about my acronyms but I just can't help it!
Love the tan and denim together
I wore a matchy matchy look yesterday as well - but I don't own anything denim (I literally only wear pants maybe three times a year) except a mini skirt. Instead I had on khaki shorts with black tights, a black tank with two waterfall cardigans layered on top of each other... black long sleeve with khaki short sleeve on top... and a pair of equestrian boots. Love it.
Also, I <3 that scarf... and your boots look like something we'd sell at my work =)
