Remember, you can always add a few fabulous accessories {i.e., a big statement necklace, some lace tights maybe and/or a pair of fun shoes} to a simple black {or other solid color} dress you may already have hanging in your closet. Sometimes getting creative with what you already have is more fun than buying something new ...I said sometimes ;)holiday dresses, what to wear to your holiday party, what do I wear, dresses, shopping, pretty dresses, fun dresses, holiday parties, women, shoes, hair

I love the short and sassy ones! nanette lepore always makes great holiday dresses! shes usually my go-to for that kind of occasion :)
Can you imagine how swingy and pretty that turquoise fan dress would look being worn? It's just so good!
Love this! I'm never sure what to wear for the company parties. I wish you could go through my closet and tell me what to wear for my date on Saturday!! LOL Can you tell I've been out of the dating loop for a while? :)
I love the Sue Wong strapless one!! The feathers are so pretty
Love the Halston dress! I saw a one-shouldered Halston in the most beautiful emerald green last week. I nearly died!

Maegan this is great! What a perfect little dress guide -- it looks right out of vogue or in-style mag =)

i love the last section #4 it reminds me of a dress from sex and the city 2, didn't carrie wear one similar to it...i love that dress.
the nanette lapore in the short & sassy group is perfection! though i'm not so sure it would look good on me. i'm about a foot too short.
Love these great dresses! I especially love the "just for fun" group! So me!
p.s. I'm having my company Christmas party this weekend, and I am so wearing a "just for fun" dress! :)

I die... Those for fun dresses are right up my alley.
I'll probably get something like that for my fashion show in March.
you picked some amazing dresses here! love them all!
I love the "just for fun" selection!
YOU BETTER GET THAT SASSY SEQUIN NUMBER!!!!
Great picks! And I love that you included a dress type for every body shape :)
That sequined dress is going to look great on you! Especially the color. Will you be wearing your satin Salvatore Ferragamo pumps?
Love the sequin dresses

All of these dresses are great, but I have to say my favourite is the 3rd one in the retro, conservative row. It has a perfect shape. Of course, I'd wear just about any of these! ;)
You're right on point with these picks. I am constantly trying to talk women into this cut because it works so well.
I agree. In Australia we have an accessories brand called Diva which is very reasonably priced but with lots of on trend jewellery etc. I will be using a simple black dress that I already own then buying a large emerald coloured bib necklace with matching emerald drop earrings to spice it up. Very Angelina! :)
Loveeeeee the last one...pleated cocktail dress...but $400?!?! Hot damn!
Love all of you picks... especially the short and sassy - loving sequins and lace!
another reason to love you, you didn't forget about us big girls!!
love these lists
I just fell in love with mod cloth. I want everything now.
Where can I get a pair of those long, lean legs for my holiday dress?
GREAT POST MAEGAN!
I love your style, and I love your dress picks! I really appreciate that you even were even able to share some of your favorite plus size choices. Thank you for being so awesome!
I just love those pants you have on!
I heart the Just For Fun frocks the MOST, daring and fab! Great picks Maegan!
Great selection!!! All are lovely!!,
