I'm singing and dancing in the shower
In fact, I'm happier when music is playing, period. I know I'm not alone in this sentiment, I can't be. Music is universal. The right song can take me out of a funk within seconds.
My very old green apple iPod mini - all dirty and beaten up, serves as my bathroom boombox and is essential in keeping my spirits light rather than serious ...especially when getting ready for work in the morning. I carry my JBL Speaker donut
back and forth from my office to the bathroom like a kid carrying his blanky on a pretty regular basis.

My ipod is my best friend when getting ready for work in the morning, too :) The music raises my mood and motivation.

My husband gets up later than me...and since I like him just a little still, I can't blare my music like I like. Until I realized that I can wear my headphones. AND then I can still hear it when I'm blow drying my hair. Problem solved.
I have that exact same GREEN iPod mini and I totally loved it. I know have an iPhone, but miss that iPod! Thanks for the idea on how to still get some use out of it.
I have the same iPod (in pink though) and the same JBL speaker. I use it when I have people over and need some background music.

Oh I feel ya! Music has that power... but it can be positive or negative! There are some songs I simply can't let myself listen to because it'll make me depressed... seriously.

love this! music can totally set/change/influence the mood of any situation. people make fun of my old school dinosaur-sized ipod (from like 6 yrs ago) but i'm gonna keep using it til it dies!
I have a little iPod dock like that too. LOVE it.
That song came on as my husband and I were getting ready for his birthday dinner tonight. Woop! I love music. It really does help shape my moods.
I have exactly the same ipod, it's all beaten up & it still has the music I put on it for a trip overseas in 2005, I can't bring myself to change the music as it reminds me of fun times!

I Love having music in the bathroom while I shower. I bought a little speaker for my ipod to make it possible. Shower singing and dancing is the best, although the dancing can be dangerous in my shower over tub combo. bleh.
hah! I still have this ipod, too..same color and everything (it's practically an antique!)
I have the same iPod! Same color too! I feel so old using it.
Music is a necessity- all kinds! I especially listen to it when I am by myself. Whether it's blaring loud or something calming, I need a little bit of noise. It's soothing!

Gotta have music. All kinds.
A co-worker complained that my music distracted her and she couldn't work. Mind you I wasn't blasting metal or rap. Just nice, quiet good to work to music.
She got moved to an office with a door.
