* Because Fire is the Devil's only Friend *

Gray Calvin Klein dress with cardigans, leather and fur

What I'm Wearing
* Charcoal gray Calvin Klein dress ...from a HauteLook sale
* Victoria's Secret v-neck boyfriend sweaters {doubled} ...I cut them up the center and made them cardigans.
* DIY LANVIN Necklace ...doubled to wear it short.
* Asos boyfriend belt ...last seen here
* Tom Ford cat eye sunglasses
* DVF bag
* LAMB sandals ...I added the fur ...and it kept my toes warm ;) -->> See my DIY HERE

Title: lyrics from Don MacLean's "American Pie"

My I'm wearing a lot of my DIYs today ...and a lot of details as well. Just an observation really. Like a comment on my own post I suppose. Nothing much more to say today ...except I LOVED this door. I think that's obvious though.

Maegan, I love this outfit on you as usual! How beautiful is that dress! I totally get what you mean about the length but you have great legs so it actually doesn't matter. I looooove those shoes except that I'd never buy them for fear of not being brave enough to wear them! They are amazing though and with the dress, belt, you..perfection! :) <3

you look professional, elegant and chique at the same time; the shoes make it very interesting. That’s where the attention is going to. The color of the bag is fabulous, and this color will work in every season. the combination with the beige color of the sweater is perfect.

omg, I am dying over what you did to the shoes. You seriously need to be hired by someone as a designer-better yet, design your own line! You're amazing!

Great outfit. I think the length looks great as it is.

Was wondering about your 'cardigans' (since you made them). This might seem like a silly question, but when you cut them down the middle... did the threads start to unravel? How did you get it to look crisp (without threads all over the place)? I wonder if it's easier to do something like that at home without a sewing machine?
