Last weekend upon researching my newly acquired Peter Karpf Oto chair, I stumbled upon VandM.com and have been sort of obsessed with the site ever since. There are infinite listings for ridiculously cool and unique vintage and modern furniture, design, & decor. Here are some of my favorites ...and these are just from the frist 50 pages of the "home" section. I'm seemingly having a penchant for all things brass and gold tones, sets of two, chairs, & lighting & lamps. I could peruse VandM for hours on end. If only I had the budget to do more than just "window shop".

omg!these are gorg!the only probl I have sometimes with the vintage furniture is that it smells a bit old- I have it when I buy from second hand shops or vintage fairs,,...
I don't know if you've already seen this or not, but Marcus Design did a diy of similar to the chest of drawers you posted. http://marcusdesigninc.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-ikea-diy-dorothy-draper-style.html
I have a new life goal to own that dresser. Wow. What a great site!
If you love that dresser in the first picture, you have GOT to check out this DIY from and ikea piece that I stumbled upon the other day. it's amazing. go here: http://marcusdesigninc.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-ikea-diy-dorothy-draper-style.html
Oh wow! These pieces are amazing, thanks for the new addiction!
love that dresser. Lately I've been really into the idea of using an old card catalog cabinet form a library as a dresser.

I love all of the pieces you've selected!
I can see why you're obsessed, all these pieces are so great! They have such a warm, organic feel to them that makes me just want to touch them!
Very inspiring.
These are all so cool! I definitely like them all.
hey
ive been following you blog for a few months now and this post made me want to comment, i have noticed your decor and style to be similar to my own but definitley more succesfully edgy, so i think you should check out tini.com it stands for 'this is not ikea' and while i actually love ikea i see what theyre getting at.
i am certainly not affiliated but i think you would really like some of the stuff they have. i cant remember where theyre based out of but i think its in cali. hope you check it out and keep up the great posts =]
Cool! Uniquely designed furnitures with a touch of antiquity. Nice post. Thanks for sharing.
