Hey you, are you trying to be mean?

long black maxi skirt with black and white striped top and a long cardigan, diy tassel earrings, long blonde waved hair, hair with dark roots, boyfriend belt, wooden wedges, DSC_0109

What I'm Wearing ...another black and white outfit with brown accessories
* Forever 21 striped Tee
* Victoria's Secret long cardigan
* Black maxi skirt ....used to be This Dress ...but it was too short for my liking really, so I cut off the top and now it's the perfect maxi skirt. I got it originally on Etsy but it looks like the "shop" no longer exists.
* Asos boyfriend belt again I know, but I tucked the end up instead of letting it hang down which gave it an entirely new look really. {it stayed in place all day as well but somehow in the last shot here, it seems to be slipping out a bit} oh well.
* Steve Madden "WONDRFUL" studded wooden wedge sandals {with black knee socks ...only because it's cold!}
* DIY tassel earrings. I actually made these this morning super quick when I got to work. -- I grabbed a Chair Tie with Tasselsdiy tassel earrings, accessories, fashion blogsat Jo-Ann's the other day thinking I'd wear it as a necklace. But when push came to shove, I needed the tassels as earrings this morning. {I snipped them off, leaving about an inch of rope on top, separated the thick rope into threads, sectioned off about 3 threads on each side, cut off all the middle section, then used the remaining threads to tie knots and slipped stud earrings through the knots and snipped off the long ends. A Pair & A Spare did a similar diy here - I tied mine so no strings were visible, which is really the only difference. {I tied the left-over rope around my wrist} CLICK HERE for my chain/tassel earrings DIY

There's something sultry that comes out of you when your husband is behind the camera (or even days when you shoot yourself). As I was looking at the pictures today, I thought that "look" was missing. Then I got to the bottom where you mentioned your brother took the pictures and Bam! I knew it! :D you look fab. as always :)

What a great outfit! I have a couple of those little tassels... you've inspired me to take them off of the lamps in my living room and turn them into earrings!

The earrings are fabulous with the outfit, and love how you paired the striped top with the maxi skirt!

p.s read your tweet yesterday, and whoever is leaving rude comments are just plain haters and miserable, and have nothing else better to do than to try to take everyone else down with them. Don't let that bother you. Just keep on going with your fabulous self! If anything, that should make you stronger and a better person for not steeping down to their level. Some people I swear are just so bored. Just tell them to go Maeg themselves, and have a nice day! ;) ... nicer way of saying F*** you. :)

melrod

So I first thought I didn't like those wedges... in one of the first pics... but I think it's because I'm not a maxi skirt girl (a maxi girl in general -- I'm 5'3")... However, after seeing all the subsequent pictures I kind of want to own them.
